Good beer and great staff. Taproom is pretty small and mundane feeling. I’ve tried twice to watch Timberwolves games here but the taproom doesn’t have enough seating so I’ve taken my business elsewhere. Even showed up early but still a no go. Not making the trek out here again to just have to head home.

The brews here are exceptional and the staff is fun and friendly. There are pinball machines and a rockin’ PA system and they spin great music. They don’t serve food but you can bring your own grub or a local Mexican food truck comes by frequently. Maybe most importantly this is probably the best place in Minneapolis to watch the Mn Timberwolves basketball 🏀 team!

I put off a visit to Falling Knife for the longest time because on the first drive by the space didn't look like anything special. I was missing out. They have a great selection of beers and all of the options I had did not disappoint! Yes, the space could get better, but I came for the beer and it won me over. I'll definitely be back again.

I am a beer snob. I get the privilege to travel around and visit a bunch of places. Looking for a place to enjoy a nice brew in Minneapolis, Falling Knife jumped out at me. This place is solid. It's really good beer with really good people who make it. I spent a few hours here and when I left, I honestly felt like I was family. Don't miss out on this place. This place is not just amazing beer (their IPAs and barley wines are fantastic), it's great people and amazing community. My only regret, is I can't visit more often.

We enjoyed our visit to this brewery. Cool feel of a “bar” in this brewery. Nice people were working there when we visited. Beers were all above average.

It is a small brewery. What's not to love? They have a sour and IPA heavy menu. 17 beers on tap when I stopped in. Indoor seating is awesome! It looks like old restaurant booths. There is a small outdoor patio with wire patio furniture. Staff was friendly. Menu was on a QR code for convenience.

I like this place a lot, though much like a trendy Prohibition-style speakeasy, you sort of have to know what you're looking for to find it. It's the kind of place that from the outside looks like it might be a vacuum repair shop or Red Wing Shoes outlet; instead, you find a super chill two-room space with a bar on one side and lots of pinball on the other. The beer is very good - "Verbal Tip" is a justly acclaimed hazy IPA. They skew a little too high on the abv scale for my liking, but there are usually some lower alcohol options for those who want them. New update: Idle Phenomena, a cold IPA, is amazing. And the new English porter, Werewolves of Broadway, is a nice wintery addition.

Excellent beer. Friendly bartender. Excellent service. The do offer table service. They are a little overloaded on IPAs (would be nice if they had some dark beer options without coffee). Their pilsner was excellent. Would be nice if they offered more food/snack options. Nonetheless, very high quality beer is offered here. Free parking. They do offer 4 ounce tasters, so you can sample as many of their beers as you like with that small pour.
