At a distance of 4 km from Ujjain Junction, Vikram Kirti Mandir is a cultural center & museum located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the best places to visit in the holy city of Ujjain.

The Vikram Kirti Mandir was established on the occasion of the second millennium of the Vikram era in the year 1965. It has been established in order to jog the memory of the young generation about the glory of the Mauryan Age. The complex houses the Scindia Oriental Research Institute, an art gallery, an archaeological museum, and an auditorium.

The Scindia Oriental Research Institute has a priceless assortment of 18,000 manuscripts on different subjects and manages a reference library of vital oriental publications. Rare manuscripts in Prakrit, Arabic, Persian, and other Indian languages cover a wide range of subjects from Vedic literature and philosophy to dance and music. Bark leaf (Bhurja Patra) and Palm leaf manuscripts are also preserved in this Oriental Research Institute. The research institute is considered to be the main tourist attraction spot inside the Vikram Kirti Mandir.

The museum displays a wide array of inscriptions, images, copper plates, Palm leaf and bark leaf manuscripts, a vast collection of coins, sculptures, and fossils discovered in the Narmada valley. The center of attraction is a big skull of a primitive elephant. this museum houses a unique collection of age-old paintings in the Mughal and Rajput style.

Best close or open auditorium in garden it's required pre approval for program.

Best time to visit morning and evening ☺️ if you come with your self or family. Mini picnic spot for ujjain people on weekends.

Good space for parking or management is good ☺️

As the name suggest NO Temple 🕍behold this place and is holder for many things auditorium, garden🏡 and🖼 museum (closed for while as going under renovation).
Had a chance to conduct our👩‍💼👨‍💼 workshop in the auditorium (300+ seats)must say nice setup with separate entry exit 🚪gates added green room. Theater style 💺seating with good🔊 audio setup.
Clean separate 🚻washroom for gents, ladies both.Ample parking🅿️ space for 2/4 wheeler and location is accessible too.

Awesome as well as realistic beauty can be noticed here. When I visited this garden such a great natural touch was there and very calm as well as cool environment was soothing my mood. I spent around half an hour which made me so relaxed as felt quite long time ago. You can choose to go for it

Good spacious auditorium with large parking facility outside. But the organiser never operate AC even during scorching hot weather, they simply install coolers which obviously do not suffice the purpose as the auditorium is too big.
