I used to live up the block from there for 10 years and one of my friend used to put fish in there for the summer. Loved it!

It was cleaned up a few years ago to its former glory and is a lovely place to visit in Riverside Park, but at street level on 76th St. It's a historical landmark built by Alexander Hamilton's great grandson, Robert Ray Hamilton It's a baroque style water trough for horses.

this beautiful fountain is a reminder the past that it served horses with cool water and today it provides wildlife with a place to bathe and refresh. delightful.
Jan Katz
unobtrusive fountain on the west side of Riverside Drive. Generally has parked cars directly in front. Pleasant to look at if walking by, but not worth a detour. Renovated in 2015.
