Nice little mosque, but do not confuse it with the Grand Sultan Qaboos mosque.
The picture you see are for the grand mosque which is in different location.

DONT CONFUSE this mosque with The Grand Mosque of the same name. It’s a wildly different location. There is still a mosque here but not the grand mosque that you can visit from 8-11am. This is just a regular local mosque.

Amazing architecture, islamic and Arabic design, very fancy carpet, doors and light fixtures. huge spaces and gardens are all around.

Top Sehenswürdigkeit in Muscat!
Mindestens 2 Stunden einplanen, um alles zu erfassen. Verhältnismäßig viele Touristen hier, aber kein riesiger Andrang.
Wichtig sind die Kleidervorschrifteb: Männer lange Hose und TShirt, Frauen nur bedeckt!!

Öffnubgszeiten für Touristen: täglich von 8.00 uhr bis 11.00 Uhr. Es gibt Kontrollen.

Nice big masjid in the middle of the market

This is one of the big masjids in the area, almost open round the clock.

you will always find people praying or reading Quran in this masjid as the area is very big. there are many people resting and taking breaks during mid-day as well.

special prayers are offered here like (rain fall / Solar and Lunar Eclipse as well).

Such a loveky Mosque Masha Allah, A must visit place when you are in Oman, Visitor Timings are from 8 AM to 11 AM only.

Beautiful mosque and a must visit.

This place is pretty large so prepare to do a bit of walking to soak it all in. The main building is very large and spacious and pretty cool to dwarf yourself in. Fantastic aesthetics, inside and out.

Bags are not allowed and they usually close at 1100, so time your stop to give you at least an hour to walk around. Plenty of parking. You will need to remove your shoes before going into the buildings.
