Beautiful place!! Probably the prettiest place to look at in ND. There were a few slight inclines there too..... one could almost call it a "hill". I'll definitely be back.
Be warned that you are at the mercy of those around you. My 5 star review turned to 3 because at all hours of the day people will come and blair music that you can hear across the dam anything from country to gangster rap and when I say gangster rap they say n word and various other profanities. Kids are unsupervised wondering around asking anglers if they can touch fish. The managements biggest concern is parking passes, not trying to create a family friendly environment.
Best place in Grand forks, if you want to hang out and catch fish, as well as wish to enjoy the beauty of nature, please do not miss this out!
Cost a little bit for a bundle of firewood but other than that we are still having a wonderful time. Kids have been out and about, they found other kids to play with. It's quiet at night. The slots are pull thru. There is a water hookup and a water disposal on each site and a black water dump nearby. There are communal showers, they are roomy and the water pressure is good. Kids are enjoying the lake and we have taken the dog and cat on many walks. I hope we can come back later in the summer
Amazing for snow fishing during the winter. You can also drive car on frozen lake.
Lots of frogs fish turtles geese swimming water clean . Great park and frisbee golf. Kayaking boat launch camping 😊 good time for all ! Affordable 5$ a day
Great ice fishing, clean and maintained park. Summertime is even better to swim and relax.
