A memorial to our dear friend Albert, and his horse. Once a year in August he is surrounded by books and bookfiends. Some of them come unbound. According to the EIBF webpage, "We have a mini-festival called Unbound - it takes place in the Spiegeltent from 9pm until 11pm and offers authors the opportunity to try new approaches."
Speaking of approaches, attend carefully to your orientation here. What you probably think is north is actually north-northwest, which is to say, slightly west of north. New Town was not built on an East-West axis, but rather on an ENE-WSW axis. Did you notice that? The West End might better be called the West Southwest End. But maybe you think I'm fruity. I'm used to that. But it's nice to be accurate.
