A great selection of exhibits. The walkway down the middle of the large ocean tank is great! Biggest downside was the dolphin exhibit had trainers working with the dolphins from very far away and made it impossible to see. Not sure the reasoning, but the lack of information or any announcement related to the exhibit left more than us confused.
My family greatly enjoyed time at this aquarium. The tickets are not cheap, but they do offer military and senior discount. We visited on a Saturday, and it was a bit crowded but manageable. We certainly enjoyed going up and down to multiple levels, especially the dark level with sharks. Fun things to do: touch jellyfish 🪼, watch sharks, take pictures near the multiple large windows overlooking the bay.
Spent the afternoon at the Baltimore National Aquarium and was worth every penny. All the fish were swimming about, divers were cleaning the fish tanks, and we even got to see the dolphins do some tricks for us. It was a blast and can't wait to come back again sometime.
Large aquarium with great animal—sharks, turtles, sting rays, dolphins— we had a great time. It is dark and strollers are not allowed. They do have stroller parking. Overall we had a great time. Plus the gift shop had a nice array of items for the adults and kids.
Went to the Baltimore National Aquarium and let me tell you, I was VERY happy I did go! Colossal in size, clean all over, pleasantly atmospheric and having plenty of space to move around in, even with a large crowd, you won't have problems moving around! The animals on display are obviously well taken care of, cool to look at and varied to an understandable degree! My personal favorites were the jellyfish touching area, the dolphin exhibit, the rainforest area,, and the various sharks! Service was great to, friendly easy and nice to talk to and cool people overall! My only complaints are the price of entry is steep, no free parking is available, and the gift shop was PRICEY! Other than that, the Baltimore National Aquarium was awesome and I'd highly recommend giving it a visit if you're nearby!
Pictures are of the outside and inside of the building, various animals on display, and Souvenir I got!!!!

**A Memorable Visit to the National Aquarium**
Having had the privilege of visiting the National Aquarium twice in the last four years, I can confidently say that it is truly a delightful place to spend half a day. Whether you are visiting with or without kids, this family-friendly attraction offers an immersive experience that leaves a lasting impression.
One of the highlights of my visits was undoubtedly the mesmerizing jellyfish exhibit. The aquarium boasts a remarkable variety of jellyfish species, each displaying their unique shapes and ethereal movements. It was a truly captivating sight that left me in awe of the wonders of the ocean.
However, while the National Aquarium is undeniably wonderful, there were a few factors that prevented me from giving it a perfect five-star rating. Firstly, the price of admission can be quite steep, particularly when visiting with the whole family. It would be more accessible to a wider audience with more reasonable ticket prices.
Additionally, having visited a superior aquarium in a mall in South Korea, my expectations were high for the United States' national aquarium. Although it offered a pleasant experience, it fell slightly short of the level of grandeur and innovation that I had anticipated.
Nevertheless, the National Aquarium is still an excellent destination to explore marine life and immerse oneself in the wonders of the deep sea. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or looking for a family-friendly activity, this attraction is definitely worth a visit.

Had a great time here. Thought it would be bigger due to other reviews, but still got top to bottom in a few hours. Always fun to watch. Food and souvenirs as always, way too expensive but we get them anyway. (Over 20 bucks for 2 pretzels and 3 cans of drinks.) Would definitely go back, because I like these types of things.
Beautiful place, and a wide range of fish from marine to tropical to see and learn about.
When we visited, it was too busy, far too busy. We couldn't move. Literally had to wait until crowds had moved passed fish tanks so we could see. Apart from that, I think the place is great. They just need to limit the amount of people who come in here at any one time.
The photos upon entering though, they are far too over priced.
Apart from that though, the displays are fantastic. Just limit the amount of people in at any one time and it'll be worthy of more stats in my opinion.
