Too disappointed with half boil egg the moment that soy sauce came out dark just like singapore style. Coffee was so bad that i couldn't finish it. It's very disappointing given that Melaka is an old town famous of its traditional style breakfast.
Of course, taste is very subjective to each person but as a malaccan, this is very disapppointing.
Can only say curry chee cheong fan is not bad.

Popular breakfast spot. Kaya toast, half boiled eggs & coffee/tea. They also have chee cheong fun.

Popular and busy place for breakfast! Multi generational business going for 60 years and now in the hands of the newest generation. Not being from this country I didn't know what to expect but found the food tasty and filling. Be aware that the egg is not hard or soft boiled so if you crack it on the table, you will make a mess, just as I did 🤣 worthwhile checking out.

Good toast & egg with nice kao coffee. There's a side shop that sells curry Chee Cheong Fan which we found quite unique. Worth a try. Good place for a quick breakfast.

Toast buns are ok, but the curry chee cheong fun abit flat taste, the curry like diluted.

Located at the heart of Kota Laksamana. We go to this Kopitiam mainly for their Teh Tarik which is better than most places… their toast bread is alright but gets “cold” quite fast. Half boiled eggs are perfectly done. Others are pretty average… like the noodles prepared in plastic containers. My biggest gripe is that this place feels like being at the sauna 😅

will forever be one of my favorite brunch & lunch spot. here's the thing you guys should know:

1. easy to park & free parking.
2. spacious & well ventilated.
3. price wise is very affordable. some said the half boil eggs are expensive but they're using a high grade eggs.
4. food taste so good especially the kaya butter, tiger skin & the egg sandwich. the homemade kaya is sooo sedapp
5. the coffee is even better. so rich, tasty and not that sweet
6. fast service. food came out less than 5 minutes depending on the turnover.
7. dont forget to try the curry chee cheong fun!

i hope owner keep the simplicity.

Parking was easy to find on a weekday. Service was good. Fast and efficient with a smile and thank you. Food was excellent. The mini croissant was my favourite and their half boiled eggs was done to perfection. Everything was brilliant. I highly recommend this place. I advice you to just have your meal and give way to other customers to have the opportunity to enjoy this place too! Thank you. Will definitely come back!
