Out of the many restaurants I’ve been a patron to, this is definitely top 10 experiences! From the moment I walked in the manager was extremely friendly. The soup was poured table side and the nachos (to order) came with three fresh sauces. The churros were warm and crispy and came with three sauces. The server, who I cannot remember his name, was the best server ever! He gave me fresh sauce to go and was very polite and attentive. It’s on the pricier side but well worth it.
Terrible experience from the moment we walked in. My co-workers and I went to this restaurant after a work event. The moment we walked in there was the guy whom we believe is the manager. He was super rude. However, we had no other option around us so we said ok fine let’s sit down and see how the food is. The food was average 3/5. Not impressed. We had to wait a while for the food and it wasn't as fresh. Mind you, there was no one there. They literally had 3 tables that were occupied and we were one of them. Then as we were leaving the manager kept looking at us as if we were bothering him with our presence. Not going back to that place ever again.
Amazing Mexican food in NYC, we ordered tacos, chips and guac. Everything tasted fresh and citrusy, the fish was soft and the veggie tacos were well cooked. Wish we can go back however it was quite expensive, but I assume this is relative to the area it’s located in.
We tried the pricly pear margarita, it had a synthetic taste to it that I didnt like. However the service was very good, they changed it as soon as they realized I didnt like it . The nachos tasted great. And to top it, when they realized it was my birthday they brought surprise churros :) it was very kind, thank you :)
Love eating here, and we keep coming back. They are so helpful with our food allergies and the food is delicious. I always leave my meal up to the chef. Usually, I have plain chicken and veggies. This time, I also had a surprise addition of sweet corn on the cob. My plate looked so fun and pretty.
The place is nicely decorated and have good music! But the food is expensive in comparison with the portion of each dish. We had a shrimp with bacon, chicken taquitos and a cheese enchilada. The shrimp were supreme! The enchilada wasn’t something to remember.
We dined here for lunch this past Friday. It was an overall good experience. The food was tasty and just what we expected. The guacamole was fresh and tasty unlike most places where it’s just bland. The corn chips were also fresh, we finished it. The roasted chicken was flavorful and well cooked. It also paired well with the ginger sauce. The Yuca chips could use a bit more crisp on the batter or shell. The shrimp fajitas were delicious with the corn tortillas but too few tortillas for such a large portion of shrimp, rice, vegetables, beans, etc.
The ambiance is bustling and the atmosphere is welcoming. Good music while you dine. Most of the staff members were friendly but the service is a bit lacking. We waited a while or a bit too long for our meals without our waiter communicating anything to us. I will most likely dine here again should the service improve.
