My visit here was a last minute one that ended up as a pleasant surprise. Definitely one of my favorite places to see the sunset.

Stunning park with lovely walking/cycle path all around it! Peaceful place to wander, restaurants and a few shops in the tree lined avenue on arrival.

A hidden gem. The tranquil atmosphere, lush greenery, and serene lake make it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic. It's well-maintained and an ideal escape. Highly recommend.

From WWII until the 1990's, the area that is now Baldwin Park was owned by the US military. In 1942 the Orlando Army Air Station was established and it encompassed what is now the Orlando Executive Airport, Baldwin Park, Audobon Park, the Fashion Square Mall, and the Koger Office Center. In the early 1960's the air station closed and the land was used as a Navy training center that trained over 650,000 recruits. In 1993 the base was closed leaving a 1,000 acre hole right near downtown Orlando. The land was turned over for community and economic development.

The Lake Baldwin neighborhood was developed in 2007 and has won many awards including accolades from the National Association of Home Builders, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Congress for the New Urbanism. The pristine neighborhood includes 15 different house styles including cottages, bungalows, and manor homes. The Lake Baldwin neighborhood is located on the shore of Lake Baldwin, one of two lakes on the former military property.

Harbor Park is one of the parks in the Lake Baldwin neighborhood. Park amenities include boardwalks, benches, and gazebos which offer a great views of Lake Baldwin. The park is perfect for enjoying nature and watching sunsets. There are grassy areas for open play and picnics. Restaurants for dining and drinking are only a few feet away. I reached the park by biking along the Lake Baldwin Jogging Trail. I had a lot of fun riding my daughter's new Lectric E-bike through the park and taking in the beautiful scenery.

Nice area with a loop. a dog park/beach.

Not only are there many cafes and restaurants nearby but also is this an awesome place for you to walk around at and to enjoy the sights and the nice view of the lake. You could literally have a nice meal @ Taste of Chengdu, a beer at Tactical brewing and then take a long walk as needed around the lake!

There’s also a dog park/dog beach on the west side.

Beautiful loop (~2.5 miles) around Lake Baldwin with a dog park/beach. Great location with cafés, restaurants and bars around. Great spot to meditate, exercise, throw around a football, take your pets, etc.

Community events hosted on many occasions like July 4, Halloween, Christmas with fire works over the lake.

This place is very cozy, feels almost like city in its own sometimes. Serene, calm, a lot of activity going on, beautiful real estate and even better views. The parks are wonderful, the dog park is very active and plenty of friends to interact with.
Most of the aerial shots were taken via my DJI Mini 2 drone.
