Small park with many hiking trails. Moss covered trees with great photo opportunities, especially with the sun low on the horizon.
Has a great path into Dash Point State park trails.
Love this park. The grassy field is huge!!! Good place to run out your little ones energy.
My family and I have been riding our bikes at this park for years now. Dash Point Highlands Park has a great selection of trails for different levels of riders and hikers. Unfortunately, I discovered recently that the most of the trails are closed at the moment because they are constructing a new bridge. However, I can't wait to come when the bridge is finished!
This park is close to AMAZING trails that are part of Dashpoint State Park. So you can dash in for a little easy hike then take the kids to this park to get more wiggles out!

This park is a great location for a picnic or a play date. It's in a quiet neighborhood and though it is sparse on amenities it does have a new play area and a couple of tables nearby to watch your kids from.
It can however be a little hot in the summer as there is little shade, though this is easily remedied by taking a stroll in the adjacent Dash Point State Park, which has a trailhead in the back of Dash Point Highlands.

Small park with a playground and an entrance to the trails at dash point state park. Had a grass area behind the playground about half the size of a soccer field.
