Do not fall for their buy one get one free on Ubereats. I order their breakfast wrap with French fries.. thinking I would get two containers. It arrived with one container.. two small sized wraps. I was so confused.. like did I not get the buy one get one free? My coworker and I just split the fries.. did not make any sense. Plus, looked nothing like the picture. Wouldn’t order from here again.
I eat here weekly. Staff is always pleasant and service is above average. Owner is a nice guy who always takes the time to greet us. Food is good with ample servings. I would recommend this place for breakfast..
This was a detour find.. They were open early in the morning so we decided to give them a try, who doesn't love breakfast ?
Ordered to share because we had already eaten
Portion was great, friendly staff, they had peanut butter and jelly packets on the table, which is rare and it made me super happy 😋
Spacious place, plenty of parking as well

This restaurant has the best crab cake breakfast ever! It comes with slices of avocados, hollandaise sauce, with a topping of finely chopped green onion and the best breakfast potatoes ever. Sunny side Grill is spotlessly clean, the staff is super friendly and efficient and the three walls of windows make it bright and cheery.
We stopped there the first time because we had an errand close by. The second time was on our way to our cottage and we remembered how much we liked it. We plan to make it a part of trip through Toronto. It’s very special.

While on the surface Angelo’s seems like a friendly family focused diner. Their staff make you feel as if you’re a bother. We sat with as a family of 7 with one child and a wheelchair user.
We were never offered a high chair and had to go find one on our own. While trying to seat the child we server was rushing us telling us to push her seat in to the table.
After we managed to get settled we decided to place our orders. I asked for the biggie breakfast and was asked what side option I would like. I asked for the fries but they never arrived. For 18.99 you would think a simple thing like fries would be doable. We asked for an apple juice for the little one which we also had to remind the staff about.
Over all the food was decent for the price but the service could improve a bit. The location was clean and had a comfy atmosphere.

45 mins for a reuben sandwich and eggs/meat/potatoes? Service is poor. Never brought water or refilled coffee. Had to ask for utensils. Food itself is mediocre: drenched in oil and meat is really dry. They also don’t season their fries or potatoes.
Very surprised this place has an average of above 3 stars.

Decent food. I felt the place lacked the magic touch of hospitality and warmth. Loud electronic music blaring in the store. Staff were kind of preoccupied. I had to ask for a menu, and come to the cash to pay. Tvs were off. Small cup of water, that wasnt refilled. Hard chairs, too many windows, and too bright, on a main road. Basically everything about the vibe kept feeling like i was rushed to leave. No other customers were there, other than a large party that moved into a reserved section as i was leaving. The place was clean, the staff looked happy talking among themselves, and i felt like i didnt belong. I felt awkward sitting there, not comfortable. No one even tried to make small talk or make me feel welcome. Other than my own personal discomfort, not much wrong with the place. Decent food, clean tables. Theres a feeling of sterility, like a hospital where the lights are too bright and the place is too organized. Maybe on other days this place slows the pace and gives a feeling of warmth to their customers, but i didnt get that feeling today. Especially with the electronic music blaring the entire time i was there. First time ive been here, and i probably wont be doing dine-in again here, just wasnt the vibe i like.
Sadly, I had high expectations for this restaurant. But was let down. Service was good but not great, server didn't check on us and we had to get up to ask for everything (napkins, coffee, and check). There were no other customers in the restaurant. Food was average, omelette and potatoes were good, but pancake was too small. Tuna cobb salad was a new menu item, but very disappointing. Egg was not sliced(only cut in half), tuna was bland, and lettuce was discoloured. Overall bad presentation. I'm sure they've done better in the past, but this wasn't a good experience, sorry.
