We love BWI! There are the right amount of eateries. The airport is considerate of long term parkers and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
Such a Great Place to Watch Airplanes
Awesome views of aircraft taking off&landing!
Lovely space for adults to chill half an hour and kids to learn about airplanes and airports. Great view of about six or eight gates and all the activities around the planes, plus the runaway.
Beautiful place to relax and spend time chilling. Only issues are (1) a-holes who participate in zoom meetings talking loudly as if they’re the only person up here, and (2) homeless and other societal miscreants who camp out, cause periodic mayhem, and disrobe to their undies and take sink showers in the bathrooms.

Such a great place to pass the time! My brother-in-law's flight was delayed and instead of leaving him to wait out the hours by himself my wife and I stuck around to explore the airport. I know, doesn't sound very fun, but this area was very fun to explore. It was a bit like a museum and it was cool learning about the different parts of the plane as well as the history of BWI.
Nice little spot in the airport with a decent view of airplanes moving around the airport. You don't need to go through security to get to it. There is a little kid playground and a number of displays showing interesting aspects of planes. Also a bathroom and multiple power outlets.
This is so cool! I've been in bwi a few times for flights and today I discovered this part. There are entire sections of aircraft on display including a huge wing section on the ceiling! And a really nice view of the activity down on the apron. Awesome spot, highly recommend 👍
