What an amazing way to experience beloved cinema!? It really felt communal and special. I was nervous about the whole cemetery aspect, they make me uneasy, but it felt like a celebration of life and togetherness!

chill and intimate venue. saw charlie cunningham and enjoyed the sound, not so much the fog. pretty warm in the space too.

Abosolute waste of money and time. VERYYYY poor management!
The whole event was overbooked, at least 20% of the crowd didn't have a place to sit, the rest 80% were sitting in eachother's mouth. My distance to family next to me was less than 2 inches and we both were uncomfortable, more than 30% left the event in the middle because of the situation. Event staff were super rude, like rediculously rude. I told one of them that I am not here to fight with you and he replied "I am paid to fight with you"!! So redicoulous! Don't waste your time and money.

A movie showing in a cemetery? Why not?!

This is so LA! Recommend getting here early because Melrose gets pretty packed as the show starts. You're able to bring a low chair and your own picnic to enjoy too. They also allow you to bring beer and wine as well! However, if you forget or don't feel like packing they also sell snacks and drinks there. Bring a blanket and a mat to rest on and enjoy the show!

What a cool idea and event. Lots of people so do go as early as possible to get a good spot. Bring lots of stuff to be comfortable both on the grass and food/drink wise. Also recommend a chair or at least something that can hold your back upright. They have lots of toilets. At the end of the screening there’s music for dancing. Really cool.

I've been wanting to come to Cinespia at Hollywood Forever Cemetery since I moved here last fall. It was such a well organized event and so much fun. All of the staff is super helpful and kind. I cut my finger at one point and a point person walked me to first aid. They also weren't jerks about giving directions. And then everyone at the event is super rad too. No one was talking during the movie, and people were kind enough to move their space to make room for more people. I wish normal LA life was this community! Oh also cool that you can byob and food. Some people had super legit setups worth tables and lights and a ton of food. They also have food, beer and wine available for purchase.
