The Farmhouse Kitchen was initially a mixed bag: we had the GF French toast, delicious!! Pancakes were disappointing; the over easy eggs, I'm finicky about how my over easy eggs are made, FHk made them just right. The sausage patties are in-house made, so I was excited to try them. Taste [of sausage] was just okay. Sausage had potential, but a bit too well done, dangerously close to dry. I also tried their decaf latte, it was delicious!
What made a great impression was the ambiance and warm welcome. What made the best impression was the chef. He came to our table out of the blue and said unbidden, and apologetically he did not like how the pancakes came out, the batter was not what it should have been, and refunded the cost of the pancakes! THAT transparency and sincerity wowed me! So, we decided we owe them a return visit.

Food was so good. Very friendly staff. We even took food and stuff home for later!!
Beautiful hidden spot on Pen Ave. The food was so healthy and delicious! I had the mushroom & onions omelette. The toast? 🤩 AMAZING! The homefries? FRESH. I ordered the Orange juice with coconut water. My stomach was happy for feeding it such an amazing, healthy food. I will most definitely go back! Thank you!
Went out of there way to help the wedding of my son and new wife and family made a cake let us stay longer then we should have ,outstanding. Thank you 😊
Everything about Farmhouse is amazing. Everyone is friendly, food is almost always all organic, every once in a while there is a non organic option.
Marty and the chefs are very transparent about whether ingredients are organically sourced or not which is very helpful.
PLEASE try this place out, it’s worth the money for healthy food that makes you feel great
Recommendations:
For savory- Meat and Potatoes bowl
For sweet- pancakes or French toast
For coffee-
Anything with lavender or honey cinnamon
For tea-
Blue Matcha w/ lavender
Just my recommendations! So many more good options🙌🏼🔥

A cozy restaurant with outdoor seating if weather permits. Place your order at the counter and sit yourself down to enjoy once your organic meal and specialty coffee or beverage is ready! The menu choices are always mouth-watering just reading them! I ordered a seasonal sweet potato bisque with toasted cornbread muffin (real corn bits) and salad. Great place to be on a unusually warm day for early November! Remember, they are open daily from 8 am to 3pm only. NOT a dinner or late afternoon locale. Also, although the restaurant is street level, there are a few steps up to the ordering platform and specials for the day chalk board.
My sister and I got pancakes (with chocolate chips) and the country breakfast to share and they were both amazing! We also got a golden milk latte and a mocha latte, both decorated beautifully. Our mom got a mango lemonade which she said was good. The prices are a bit on the higher side but everything is organic/natural, the seasonings were different than your typical place, and the portions were great so I 100% think it is more than worth the price! We were there while they had a catering order so it took a bit longer for our food but a staff member came out and talked to us and apologized for the wait, he was extremely nice. (The food was so good, I forgot I wanted to take a photo when the stuff came out!)
Okay so I never write reviews but this is a special exception. We got the pulled pork sandwich, the house lemonade, the rose berry lemonade, and the veggie burger, and let me just say the food EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS BY FAR. HIGHLY recommend the veggie burger and sweet potatoes - I usually expect veggie burgers to be dry, but they are so hearty, savory, flavorful, and filling! The rose berry lemonade was amazing as well. It has strawberry, lemon, mango, and rose syrup… it has me RAVING. Drinks may be on the pricier side, but I would say the food is definitely worth the price. Wonderful lunch outing!
