Pat See Kut is a local traditional cake shop that is a rare find these days.
It’s Chinese name 百事吉means “hundreds of things are lucky”. It has recently put on decors for the Chinese New Year, and is selling loads of festive food. It’s popular in Wanchai as you could see from the crowd it draws👍🏻👍🏻

The small branch of Pak See Kut a few doors away has closed and they have moved to a bigger store a few doors away.

This time I got the pandan cookies which were displayed at the front of the store in a glass cabinet.

Pandan cookies:

The texture was nice and crumbly but the rancidness of the cookies spoiled it.

The cookies were a bit too sweet.

Good pastries for very affordable prices. I haven't found a cheaper bakery yet. All the pastry signs are in Chinese so you either have to ask what is inside or guess based on how it looks like on the outside.

Random chanced upon this shop, cookies are really tasty. Chose 6flavours but she only gave me 5, only realised when I got back to hotel.

One of the Wan Chai famous shops. it is a bakery shop, but cookie is more famous. Cookies made with pure butter, particularly tasty. There are nearly 30 options every day, except the classic butter or chocolate favored cookies, the green tea sesame flavor also well received by customers. The butterfly crisp and almond stick are also very good, too. It is very crowded every minute before the Lunar New Year as delicious Chinese traditional new year food like fried dumplings are selling at that time.
