So fun!! Tour guide was fantastic and the ride was scenic. Great way to see the riverwalk and pick places you want to visit.
The guide was knowledgeable, but the tour was much faster than advertised. About 25 min. Advertised as 35-40. Cool to learn some history and fun facts. No wait going right when it opened at 10.
Amazing ride down the San Antonio River. Our Captain, Doug, was humorous and gave great information on the different places and buildings along the river. Tour is about 30 mins.
It was a good ride because they talk about the history and development of the riverwalk, and it took about 40 minutes to make the big loop and also take the detour to where the shopping mall is, the man-made Canal shaped like a letter "T".
This was a really fun tour. There are a couple of places on the river walk where you can hop on. We went at night, I wish we went during the day, to see more! We had a great tour guide, she was really funny, and told a lot of interesting facts. Sometimes it's really busy, it's a bit better during the week. The tickets are good for a year!
Go Rio River Boat Tour is a must-have in your wishlist if you plan to visit San Antonio. The River Walk is one of the most popular tourist spots here and bustles with tourists, local, kids. I visited on Monday! - a regular weekday around 3:30-4pm and found the place more crowded than I expected on a Monday! -- Mostly people on vacation and some locals too. The Go Rio River Boat Tour has three ticket counters and the boat sails every hour, the tour takes almost 45-50 minutes to cover. It may give you a Venice lite feel !! Our guide was a very friendly and cordial guy who has been giving the tour for the last 20yrs if not more than that. He explained almost all the buildings situated by the banks, told magnificent stories of how those buildings, hotels were made, showed us some excellent food joints for pizza, tex-mex foods, beverages etc. Before boarding the boat, you will be photographed which you may buy later on. Overall it remains a beautiful experience and I recommend this tour.
This is a highly sought after activity on the Riverwalk. You can anticipate longer lines in times of travel, so plan accordingly! The trip is 30-40 minutes long and it is filled with so much history. Our guide was very funny and had a lot of personal connections to different locations part of the tour. We would highly recommend this as part of your trip in the area.
A fun and quick boat tour. Lots of interesting facts and humor. If you spend time around the Riverwalk you'll hear the guides hitting the same facts, but they all have a different patter and delivery. Our guide, Autumn P, was great. She was funny and dry(a great quality for a boat captain, pun fully intended). I recommend going after dark so you can experience the lights. The Christmas lights will be coming soon and are normally only on for 6 weeks.
