Great place to have a drink and go to the beach, small parking lot infront. Prices are affordable. The area could be cleaner and maintained a bit better, there is some trash and random items around.

We went to the beach today in Canakkale at Mega beach. There are few parking spaces if you come by car. The area is quite well organized with tables under the umbrellas, showers, changing cabins, beach shop, you can also serve food. We were at the beach for about 2 hours, because we wanted to go to a nearby mall. The beach is quite clean, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, the water instead quite dirty with plastic debris and algae / grass probably because of the waves. In the water there is a 20-30 meter stretch of sand, then 2-3 meters of dead algae and then vegetation. The staff is very kind.

Lots of kelp floating in the water. Nice people nice service. The waiters are friendly. The setting is better than what I expected for a free entry beach. Will come again, will swim again. The safety and trust given in this beach is higher than most of the other beaches I've been to. Recommended
The fast food is not great, but being near the only beach in Cannakale certainly is convenient. It has the advantage of being in walking distance from the center of Canakkale.
Probably number 1 place to reach for swimming, sunning, have great time with your kids at the beach. Fast and delicious food served, moderately priced. Amazing views like passings of heavy tonnage ships, touristic cruisers and the very famous monument "DUR YOLCU". Very close to the city center easy to reach by public transportation.
