Good for a quick, low key meal. I got a small plate of raw oysters and they were as good as I’ve had anywhere. My wife got fried shrimp and fries and they were decent . Can’t speak for the more expensive food options like crab legs as we were just looking for a quick bite. The atmosphere was my favorite thing about the place. I’ll revisit if looking for decent food without the sit-down restaurant feel.

Ordered the oyster poboy, shooter and grub steak. Bread was a little crispy and a bit large for the serving size but decent to eat.

Service was pretty fast.

I decided to give this place a try since they didnt have a line, that should've been the first red flag. I ordered baked oysters, calamari w/ fries and crab cakes and the best thing out of everything was the fries. The oysters were very gritty which was an instant turn off. The calamari wasn't the traditional calamari I'm used to, it was some processed calamari sticks (similar to fish sticks but with a solid texture). The crabcakes were bland, very tiny and the meat didn't taste like crab at all. The quality of food doesn't match the price point, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Fish tacos were the best!! My wife had the chicken sandwich also very good! Recommended to try! It’s worth more than 2.9 ⭐️ s!

This is a great place for good quick food. I got fish and chips and they were hot! Freshly cooked, and a good amount I was not too full, and did not leave hungry. My companion, who got the same, was not able to finish it all. It seemed more expensive than I thought it should be at first, but after eating I see it was worth it!

Food ordered: Crisp Halibut Sandwich, Oyster Poboy, Sautéed Clams, and Croquettes

Taste: The sandwich was a delicious and satisfying meal. The halibut was cooked perfectly and had a crispy batter that was not too thick or greasy. The coleslaw was fresh and flavorful, and the tartar sauce was tangy and creamy. The po'boy was a great option for those who love seafood. The oysters were plump and juicy, and the bread was soft and fluffy. The remoulade sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the po'boy was topped with fresh lettuce and tomato. Finally, the clams were cooked in a garlic and white wine sauce that was flavorful and not too salty. The croquettes were crispy and creamy, and they were a nice contrast to the clams.

Price: Crisp Halibut Sandwich was $18.95, Oyster Po'boy was $17, Sautéed Clams was $17, and Croquettes was $6.95 bring the grand total to $68.02...with taxes $6.32 and a 3% surcharge $1.80 and no option for tipping. This fed a party of three about $22 per person.

Service: The staff at The Salmon Cooker is friendly and knowledgeable. They are always happy to help you make a decision about what to order, and they are always happy to answer any questions you have about the food.

Atmosphere: The atmosphere at The Salmon Cooker is casual and inviting. The restaurant is small and intimate, and it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere by the ocean.

Presentation: The food at The Salmon Cooker is presented in a simple and elegant way. The dishes are not overly decorated, but they are still visually appealing.

Overall, The Salmon Cooker is a great place to go for a delicious and unique and budgeted seafood experience. The food is fresh and flavorful, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is casual and inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat in Seattle by the ocean.

My husband loves their smoked Halibut that we discovered over 10 years ago. So after we got off our cruise we decided to have lunch here. You order at the counter and wait for your food to be delivered to your table. Honestly, the smoked fish is delicious and their Halibut and chips was very good too. Staff was friendly and our food was hot when we got it. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Wish I could do a 3.5 star. Most people there were mistaking this place for the "Crab Pot" as the sign outside appears to indicate the location. Good for the Salmon Cooker for having that prime real estate! The Clam Chowder was good and they had good seating outside. However, you'll need to decide if the quality is on the same level as other Seafood restaurants in the area.
