The show was good. I do NOT recommend the standing room tickets. We thought it was on the floor next to the artists and we could dance etc however, we were required to stand against the wall. Horrible views and I feel like we got duped on the tickets. They need to be open where the standing room is located. We got to watch most of the show on the tv screens. 🤣 The experience and vibe was good. Next time we will buy seats to sit in.
We loved the experience but there were some flaws in getting to the Premium lounge (Circle Room) before the show. First of all we had no idea where to go. The line was extremely long and had I not gone in to ask and get in right area, we would have not had the whole hour to enjoy our special lounge experience. Miss Lorrie was extremely nice making sure we got where we needed to be. We need more “Lorries”! The food was great in lounge; chicken, potatoes, dessert and all the drinks you wanted. The show was fine but did not enjoy the headliners. They Only sang new songs and couldn’t relate. Loved Connie Smith, Dailey and Vincent, Gary Mule Deer and square dancers.
I wish I would've known they were doing professional pictures last night and I would've got some, but that's ok...maybe next time. Other than that my first time visiting the Opry was amazing! My boyfriend took me to see Carrie Underwood (my favorite) perform on his birthday. It was an amazing show!! If you plan on stopping by the Opry shop, I recommend bringing a lot of money. It is expensive, but well worth the stop.
It's difficult to explain how fantastic this show actually is. I'm not a massive country music fan, but, when in Nashville, we figured we should go. I'm so glad we did. It was a fascinating mix of big stars, up and comers, and forces behind the music industry that we'd never heard of, but turned out to be highlights. If you don't recognize the line up, don't let it dissuade you from going - our group thoroughly enjoyed everyone.
Great classic venue. Should be on everyones list if you like music. Excellent sight lines from most seats. Seats way off to the right or left look like they would not be great. We were the first balcony and had a super view. Very efficient entry and exit. Careful with cabs outside, our group needed two and niether driver used a meter for the ride. Charged us 60.00 for what previously was a 30 dollar ride.
This was very awesome. We loved every minute. My teenager laughed and smiled quite a bit so it has to be great. I would highly recommend this to all. We liked the shop and the back stage tour. Which is take it or leave it but Connie was great. Wonderful stuff going on here.
We stopped by for a tour of the Grand Ole Opry and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful facility and the history is so rich. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and they take you back stage to see the unique and stunning dressing rooms. It was a wonderful experience and we are so happy we went.
We took the guided tour here on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024. Our tour guide Jessica was very good, explained things perfectly and answered all questions. It was nice seeing the ins and outs of this iconic music hall and get a photo on stage. Our experience was partially ruined at the completion of the tour when we went into the gift shop and the two rude employees there advised us there was only one photo package from the photo taken on stage ($30 for a pair of 6 x 8 prints, a 4 x 6 print and a digital download) and became hostile when questioned about other options. One employee even went to the extreme of taking our photos off the wall where they were all displayed.
Came here as part of a group tour. Wasn't sure what to expect. Two hour show. Great performers! Loved the music! Loved the experience! Wish I lived closer - I'd be here a lot more often. Loved that the music wasn't so loud - I could hear when I left (my ears weren't ringing). Great history here - highly recommend!
It was our first visit to the Grand Ole Opry and it was Awesome. We loved every entertainer on stage. We purchased tickets for the post show back stage tour and really enjoyed that as well. Maddie did a great job taking our group back stage and telling us what goes on. The Grand Ole Opry was the highlight to our stop in Nashville.
The Opry was a great experience. We done the tour which was brilliant. Getting to see behind the scenes as well as all the dressing rooms and even where the members collect their mail was really cool. The place has so much stories to tell and plays a huge part of the country music scene. I was surprise at how tiny the Circle was, but excited to see it and stand on it. Seeing a show was nice too, it's an intimate experience and mostly suited for really country fans. (I am a country fan but not of anything too slow) Overall really glad I got to see a show and explore the Opry and Opry grounds. It's a must see for anyone visiting Nashville or for anyone who is a fan of the TV Show Nashville. Downside is the parking, it was a nightmare, it's all digital and done via an app and a phone number. If you have any number other than US or Canada don't bother trying parking here (plus it would have cost $20) We parked in the mall beside it and it was only an 8 mins walk to the Opry and it was free.
My recent visit to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville was nothing short of a sensational experience. From the moment I stepped inside the complex, I was enthralled by its grandeur and warm Southern hospitality. The architecture, both inside and out, was a testament to the rich history of country music, and it felt like stepping into a musical shrine.
One of the first things that caught my eye was the large gift shop, filled with a wide array of country music memorabilia and souvenirs. It was a country music lover's paradise. I couldn't resist picking up some unique keepsakes to remember the night.
The Grand Ole Opry complex also offered numerous dining options and places to grab a refreshing drink, ensuring that guests could enjoy a delightful meal or quench their thirst before the show. The convenience of having all these amenities within the complex made the evening even more enjoyable.
But what truly made the night remarkable was the size of the arena. It was just the right balance, not too big, ensuring that no matter where you sat, you had an excellent view of the performers on stage. And what a show it was! The tribute night featured Garth Brooks and several other country music legends, leaving the audience in awe with their extraordinary performances.

If you're a country music enthusiast, this iconic venue in the heart of Nashville is an absolute must-visit. It's a place where the magic of country music truly comes alive.

We had a great night at the Grand Ole Opry! Such an intimate and iconic venue. My seat was comfortable and so close to center stage. I loved being able to see so many different artists in one night. It was an excellent tribute to Kieth Whitley with Garth Brooks closing out the night like no other! Can’t wait to come back!!
Historic place and home of country music in Nashville, if in the area you have to visit. The tour of the theatre during the day was interesting and well led, you get to see the behind the scenes dressing rooms and waiting areas as well as walk through backstage along with gŕeaf stories about the stars.
The evening performance is a tribute to country music and would appear to be a bit of an old boys/girls club by what I perceive to be the gatekeepers to success in the industry. Didn't see any young performers around and Geriatric comes to mind. That said, the old timers put on a pretty good show which was mostly entertaining. It was an enjoyable experience all in all.

You could feel the history as you were taken on the tour. I'm not even a big country fan, and this was one of my favorite parts of our trip to Nashville. It was nice how they kept switching off our tour guide. They all made it fun and interesting. It's worth the cost of the tour, and I'd highly recommend!
