Lots of stuff to see, but the bigger animals are more scarce. I didnt see a leopard but I did see:

1. Big animals - hyeena, antelope, cow
2. Birds - Peacocks, Jungle warbler, Red Vented Bulbul, Red Wattled Lapwing, Partridge, Hoopoe, Ducks, Pidgeons, Rufous Treepie, Shikra (hunting a chipmunk), Spotted Owlets, Nightjar, Babbler
3. Other - Chipmunks, Monarch Butterflies, thousands of Dragonflies.

Other groups saw a deer. We also saw some leopard footprints.

Appalling and a scam

We arrived at 6am as safaris are meant to start early as big cats prefer early mornings or late evenings, but it wasn’t even open yet.

The toilets were foul, one blocked with excrement and the other with toilet paper, pee and ants.

The driver barely spoke to us, so all I knew about the park were the bold claims of wildlife on the website.
We drove up and down the same tracks on a small piece of land for about 2 hours and all we saw was some birds and squirrels. Not even a deer. I don’t believe that there are leopards or any other predators here because there’s no sign of any prey animals. How on earth are 20 leopards meant to live here?

The experience was not fulfilling . The booking amount between online and counter booking is different . It was said that only online booking is there . Although we two were there but we were made to pay for the entire gypsy which I paid for 7700 which is way too much. Plus we were are the only one . While I was told that booking is full . We will manage ur one as u are only 2
It is not leopard safari . It's a jungle offroading . For that the price is too high . Even I felt that hardly any one can spot a leopard . So scam the tourist saying that there more than 27 leopard . If that the case atleast 1 leo would be spotted. I feel like a scam . Spotted only peacock and peahen. Not even any other bird .

Its more like a bird century, driver said only 5 leopard were there in Amagarh jungle those also rarely seen in summers only around few water spots. open jeep Safari was good in early morning, But totally money waste for leopards. They charged for full jeep. don't buy online tickets from agents. they charge double. Current/counter tickets are available, no one goes there. Amagarh gate side is only to see peacocks and tiny birds(few). Dont waste your money, we wasted 1500rs per head , we were 4 ppl in a jeep. given 1 more star for Driver (he was good and straightly informed "KOI LEOPARD NHI DIKHEGA MAM. WRONG GATE PE AA GYE")

Safaris are booked but management needs improvement. Roads are not well made and very bumpy. Overall Facilities are limited at present in this new reserve functioning about a year now.

It's a very small park with very few animals
We saw a mongoose, Nilgai, a few different types of birds, but on the whole, the park seemed deserted. It looked like it had no animals.
We did, however, get lucky and saw 2 leopards mating from a distance for a fairly decent amount of time.
I have been to Jhalana a few times, and I personally feel that Jhalana is better than Amagarh.
If you live in and around Jaipur, then you should definitely see it once, but otherwise, it can be totally avoided.

Amagarh Leopard Reserve at Jaipur is organising a Leopard Safari in unplanned, unmanaged way . At the site they are displaying Charges RS.784/- per head ( Indian) , but online it shows RS.1350/- and some other Tour Agents charging RS.1350/-. Me and family get a bad experience to be there . We were charged @1350 per head and reached there before time but started Safari in the Last but paying for 2 persons extra because we were 4 , this was not told by Agent earlier. Get cheated

Visited with friends on Nov 14, 2023 morning at 6.30 AM-:9.00 AM.
Could not spot Panther, could spot only one blue bull, one white spot bird, 2-3 pea hens & few nos of birds only.
1.Improper watering of plants & insufficient water availability in pot holes &; reservoirs resulting drying & uprooting of trees & plants.
2. No of tracks are only 3, needs increasing no of tracks to enable wild life animals visibility.
3. Improper & inadequate greenery does not provide proper food for wild lifes survival .
4. Price were very high, we we were charged Rs 6000/- for gypsy, whereas charges shown in chart is Rs 4704/ for gypsy, not worth to the purpose of the world of Wilder safari adventure.
5. Due to cold, We were asked to pay Rs 600/- for 2 quilts, on asking for higher price finally we paid Rs 300/- for 2 quilts. No proper receipt for the same, on enquiry we were told those were supplied by local unauthorised vendor.

It was perfectly disappointing experience.
Staff was courteous & punctual in time , but they were helpless due to negligence of proper upkeep of the Amagarh Panther world of wilders.
It needs iurgent mprovement in upkeep & visibility.

Jeep driver cared, seemed knowledgeable, and found us a leopard (and possibly a cub). Which my photos do not do justice. However, at the start they tried to get us to pay for the extra two seats in the jeep, which isn’t made clear up front. We stuck to our guns and they relented, but then tried to make a couple pay for four extra seats - rather than putting us all together. So we just grouped up and forced the issue.

So if you’re not going as a six, it’ll be worth trying to make up a group on your own (at least until the reserve gets more popular). Ideally the forest service would stop this dodgy behaviour anyway of course.

Morning tour started 30 minutes early, so do be there at least 45 minutes ahead.

Taxi driver didn’t know it existed so make sure they take you to the right place.

Great leopard sightings we had. Amenities like AC waiting hall, clean toilets, cool drinking water all available. Very friendly staff.

It is a small cat,no a scrub hare,no it is a desert fox, wait wait, superb,it is a #leopard cub,so cute, so fast that lenses could not capture its speed, than a real big leopard hiding in the bushes,a visit to #Jaipur's new leopard safari #Amagarh and tourists are thrilled. Many thanks to #RajasthanForestDepartment for this another #leopard destination right in the proximity of picturesque #galtajitemple, Ciao.

Beautiful although no leopards were seen that day. But is is always a chance! If you enjoy wildlife, go for it! The guide and morning views so calming!
