Our tour guide was amazing and the whole experience down in the caves was awesome! If you get the chance to go, I'd highly recommend it!

Our Tour Guide was knowledgeable and delivered the stories and facts with humour, which made the tour even more enjoyable. The tour was at a good pace and allowed a bit of sightseeing and daydreaming for a few seconds at a time, as we paused at points. As the stories were told, you could imagine the people who used the caves many moons ago, to get to safety and wonder about their state of mind, their emotions- while years later we walked some of the same paths at leisure and in awe- the stark difference, as a means for survival then and pleasure and learning now.
I confess, at one point I wondered what it would be like to get lost in the caves and have to live and survive, maybe one day being found, alive or skeleton. It was a calming thought but I count my blessings knowing we would all walk in and be able to walk out without worry.

We had a great time. My daughter thought it was the best cave ever. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the cave and Jamaican history. Definitely add your bucket list when visiting Jamaica.

This magnificent natural wonder that also has historical significance to Jamaica is located close to Discovery Bay in St Ann Parish and directly accessible from the A1 motorway. The admission fee that included a guided tour is reasonable. There was ample on site parking at the entrance to the park. Our tour guide Peteann was courteous, organized and highly knowledgeable about the geological and historical significance of the caves.
In particular, it was fascinating to see bats residing in their natural habitat and to learn about the formation of stalagmites and stalactites and observe them in this underground environment. This attraction is definitely worth a visit when in Jamaica.

Bob was an entertaining guide making the hour long tour like an exploration event complete with bats, snakes, underground tunnels and a bit of history mixed in. $20 us for adults and $10 children 12 and under.
This place and the history is amazing! The tour guide was hilarious and full of knowledge (she asked us not to take pics but I needed a few for my students, my apologies). The cave, bats, compartments, and water was fascinating for everyone! The walking tour was cool and worth the price of admission!
