Breathtaking view waterfall was amazing . Our guide was great he made our walk up to the falls more enjoyable. Guide was knowledgeable on the plants and herbs 🌿 . My spiritual journey to Nanny Falls will never be forgotten.

This place is very clean and beautiful, with a small hike up and down some stairs but after reaching the falls it was well worth it. And our guide was very polite and knowledgeable about the whole history of the falls and the maroon town it's situated in.

Nanny falls is really a hidden gem nestled in the Blue John Crow Mountain. Filled with greenery and inhabited by some friendly people.
I went there a few years ago with a friend on a tour and I must say it was breathtaking. My guide was very informative as he gave us a bit of background of the town and culture while we hiked to the falls. He was also super patient with us as he waited until we enjoyed the falls.
We literally had the falls to ourselves. We went during the week. There were literally only 4 people there.
Currently, the steps leading to the falls are being renovated but as soon as it’s done I’ll be back.

The journey is a bit long from Kingston and it’s a good hike from the school to the falls. But it’s so worth it, from the history lesson on Nanny and her people to the welcoming nature you’ll love it! Wear your swim wear and leave your bags in the vehicle if you can. Also, ensure you wear proper hiking shoes. Our tour guide Andre is the best and he’ll ensure you have an awesome experience!

I got Lost getting to nanny falls so follow the directions carefully and ask questions from the older locals, the turn off is just out of Port Antonio Town and remember you are looking for Moore Town, most people don't know nanny falls but when you reach Moore Town the locals there will assist you. It's $2000 jmd entrance fee, wear sneakers, carry repellant, towel and camera. Best if you change where you leave your vehicle because you will follow the track straight into the river there's nowhere up by the falls to change. With that said i had a great time in the ice cold water in the hot summer sun. I loved it so much.

@kromantiexprience was my tour guide.
The overall experience was amazing and it's definitely a trip worth taking. They told us ahead of time exactly what we needed. You may want to take a waterproof phone case and a light snack. The falls os picture perfect and very intimate.

Beautiful falls in Jamaica's most lush parish. Lots of history attached to this place. There's also a 15-20 minute hike through a slightly rugged trail with the sound of the falls in the distance and a great variety of plants.
Jamaica Social
Nestled in the hills of Portland, about a 20-minute hike from Moore Town (Maroon Town), Nanny Falls is a hidden gem that is still unknown to many Jamaicans. As you make your way through the lush trails, possibly in the footsteps of national hero, Nanny of the Maroons, you are tantilized by the natural habitat that surrounds you, and the falls are just the icing and cherry on the cake.
