3.15.2024 A lot of construction going on around the course now but I imagine it will be in good shape by golf season. They have a shop, pool and restaurant. Nice place in an old neighborhood.
What a great course and layout. Greens were prefect. If you ever get invited to play, do not hesitate.

I'm telling you for Thanksgiving. They had pretty much everything you could imagine from every American holiday from the entire year all around their ballroom. But since I'm always about going for the money, I loaded up on crab legs and didn't stop until I felt like my artery was popping out of my neck.
Mount Vernon has impressive amenities and a well trained/friendly staff of people who care about the club. The course was in prime condition when I visited last summer, and the food was delicious too. Also the pro shop is very well stocked and organized, they got the small details right.
My employer used this venue for a company event for around 250 people. They were able to accommodate our group with ease. Ample facilities and parking. We went with a buffet style breakfast and the food was tasty. Pleasant staff. Great service.
Stacey Oberly was FANTASTIC to work with for my wedding. Everything was perfect, ran smoothly, and was absolutely beautiful. Even when I forgot some details, Stacey just said she would take care of it and she did. The setting was amazing, very personal. Stacey also set me up with a DJ. Everything was within my budget too and I was certainly a bride on a budget paying for it myself. I would recommend having your wedding here. When we can, we will likely become members of the club.
Amazing service! The food was gourmet. The sand traps where well drained and dry. The course was not very hilly at all. Water features were beautiful. The carts where electric and very speedy. I was very easy to find everything in the club house.
