Mumtaz mahal restaurant has a prime location and is well-suited for events and all types of parties due to its ambiance and availability of bars. However, the food quality is average. Ample parking is a plus point. Overall, it appears to be a great choice for hosting gatherings but may not excel in culinary excellence.

If you ever feel like burning money, I would ask you to spend it here.
The food was average in taste and ridiculously overpriced.
Ordered biryani which was dry, and very little in quantity.
Service was pretty good and the restaurant has a great view.

This place is fantastic , the food is super delicious would 100% reccomend this and it's worth the prize. The restaurant is located in the hills which gives a beautiful view from top and ample parking. Coming to the restaurant it's super huge and spacious and the ambience is perfectly set for Indian tradition. The staff is very much friendly and coming to the food it takes time but it's worth the wait. The chicken is super delicious and soft . You will 200% enjoy the starters. I'm attaching a few pictures of the ambience , food and the menu for all the viewers below.

Went to this place as was excited about the name of the restaurant. And to tell you it does justify it's name. The place is located at the top of a hill. You can see the city area below the hill top. Great view at night.
+ Huge area for dining with great Mughalai cuisine options.
+ Ample parking for guests.
+ Nice ambience and interiors which will take you back in history.
+ Great quality food worth the money you spend. Lentil soup is a must try for soup lovers.
+ Staff will help you decide on which dish to order.

- It's better to order immediately on arrival as it take a bit of time for your order to be served.

Our first anniversary at Mumtaz Mahal turned out to be a disappointing experience. Despite its reputation for exquisite North Indian cuisine, the service fell short of expectations. The food, while okay, did not meet the high standards associated with Mumtaz Mahal. Despite being a renowned 5-star establishment, the service was lacking.

Our disappointment began with the indifferent attitude of the waiter, who seemed uninterested in our inquiries about the menu. The hygiene aspect was also concerning, as the glasses provided had an unpleasant smell despite being changed twice. Opting for bottled water seemed like a safer choice.

To add to our dismay, when requesting a finger bowl, we were presented with a dirty bowl, a surprising lapse in cleanliness for a restaurant of such prominence. This experience left us questioning the management's commitment to maintaining their reputation.

As patrons who had visited Mumtaz Mahal before, we expected a different level of service. It's disheartening when a well-established restaurant seems to overlook such essential aspects. Hopefully, this feedback reaches the management, urging them to address these issues and uphold the standard they are known for.
