The park was very clean. We drove throught the holiday light show, and while it was pretty backed up with cars, the staff was kind and quick to help everyone navigate. The light show was fantastic
Nice, somewhat hidden park, good for walking and getting your steps in. They had small man made trails, but with the remodel that's going on, that kinda went away. Over the summer, they have plays in the arena along with a small food truck. They have 2 small playgrounds it's mostly walking around type of park. Although they do have a cornhole set up by the kids' playground
We went in search of Pickleball courts and found a little bit of charm as well.😊
This park has so much to offer. We will definitely be back to explore more!

We had a super fun day with my English bull dog puppy.. he ran and played. 🥰😍🤩
We originally went to use the golf driving range (which they don't have there) but found other things to do. It's a very clean and well kept park. Two thumbs up 👍 👍
One of the most beautiful peaceful places I’ve been on my travels anywhere. It’s the jewel of Rockford among a very large less than optimal urban area. The bike path is well maintained. Very day safe. Tons of great trees and well landscaped grounds. Ducks, geese, squirrels, and other small wildlife make their home here also.
One of the best things about the Rockford area is here. always has things to do. the gardens are beautiful. The Christmas lights are awesome. The butterfly exhibit is very fun... and my kids want to go back every year.
I love that there are two playgrounds. One for younger children 5 and younger and one for kids 5-12. These are wonderful play spaces. The smaller one has Astro turf while the larger has wood chips. At the larger playground there is a set of swings to accommodate all kinds of needs.
