Atmosphere was okay… Food was really basic, nothing special.
They served dinner about 15 minutes before the starters🙄 (who even does that?)
I recommend only the General Gau Chicken. Asides that, the sweet and sour chicken, and the lemon chicken are just bland chicken with sauces.
The waitress was nice though.
There was a 12.5% service charge on our bill (table of 5 people)

The ambiance is excellent, the decor splendid, the service a bit stretched, the food is too rich with heavy condiments for my taste. The greens in my plate were chopped without care and the prosecco at a price of circa 40euros came in a screw top bottle. Good place to impress but not necessarily for food.

I celebrated my anniversary with my husband and I felt a warm welcome! The waiter Bruna made our night great. Food, wine and atmosphere was perfect. Definitely I will come back 💜!

This place is gorgeous and has a very special atmosphere. You almost feel like you've escaped Dublin for a bit and are perhaps somewhere else.
I must say that the service was outstanding! Always attentive, kind, friendly and helpful. Ordering was easy and any question was answered.
The food was overall good but some items we enjoyed more than others such as the dumplings and spring rolls over the main courses. To be completely transparent, we didn't find the desserts to be anything spectacular compared to what you would find at another restaurant. It would be great if desserts were Asian as well!

Yet still, everything was full of flavour and we enjoyed our visit.

Recently dined here on a Friday evening. Firstly, the restaurant setting and decor was amazing. A really nice eating environment.
The staff were attentive, but we did feel a little rushed.
The menu choices were more limited than a regular chinese restaurant, but there was still a reasonable selection.
The starters were delicious - we could not fault.
The mains were also good, but I didn't like the overpowering nature of the pickled cabbage on my own dish.
Overall a good dining experience - worth a visit.

First off, the atmosphere and decor in this place is stunning. A giant tree inside as the main room centre piece. Very Avatar, Tree of life vibes. Staff are attentive and nice. The food was good....very good and the house chilli oil is the star of the show.

Cons - it's ridiculously pricey. The food is good but let down with the prices. There are other good restaurants where I can get just as good or better beef in black bean for far less than €28. Dublin has gotten so expensive but there was still many restaurants you aren't being ripped off.

Mama Yo will be a very rare special occasion if we were frequent again.

This is our second time here celebrating something special, and the resto never failed to deliver. The staff were very nice, attentive despite being so busy and servce was to the tee. The ambience is perfect for gatherings, not too warm or too cold. Very comfy seats abit sticky table but thats fine. Food was delish as always, seasoned abit less which is perfect bec you can taste the natural flavor of the meat/veggies. Drinks were good, loads of options esp for non-acholohic drinks as well. Pricing is a bit steep for some but worth it. Will be back again for next occasion.

Beautiful restaurant, great atmosphere! The service was good, the staffs were really friendly.
Food wise, the starters were delicious but the main dish wasn’t really good. Also if it’s a group going in there’s a set menu you can’t order from the normal menu which was a pity.
