Most favorite place for breakfast or brunch or simply getting a cup of coffee. Love their weekend specials, big thanks for the vegetarian option 🫶🏻 The regular menu is delicious too, even a half of the avo toast I had was pretty filling.

Nice breakfast, they use awesome bread, deserts look delicious, in the morning I was lucky to get a freshly baked cookie that was still hot! Service is great, the team was super lovely and also if you buy a pack of coffee beans you can get a cup of coffee for free.
They use my favorite The Welder Catherine beans - one of the best in Russia!

Smena is one of the best breakfast places in the city.
The food is fresh and of good quality, lots of healthy options, coffee is good as well.
The place is small, and might get crowded around 10am and after 2pm, but most of the time you can find an available spot to enjoy something tasty from the menu.
The service is super fast and professional—thank you a lot for that, guys, and thanks for creating the place people want to come back to💙

Scandinavian design, atmosphere, cozy, toilet, coffee is ok, friendly staff, outstanding breakfast set on Saturdays and Sundays (they change the set every week, so it's quite an event), cool books to read, crowd is interesting as well. Because the sets are so popular, be prepared to wait in line to be seated during the rush hours - worth it - in my opinion, it's the best breakfast in the city, an amazing experience.
I'm not a coffee expert, but I didn't like the breakfast that I had here. This place tries to be extraordinary, and immediately speaks about the specific of serving breakfast. Well, I gave it a try. I took breakfast set and a sandwitch. And I had no good emotions about it. But I had questions.
May be the coffee here is really nice, but I was here not for coffee, unfortunately. For sure, meal is not the strongest part of this place, don't make my mistake. I don't insult this place, I believe some people can like it. But be realistic and don't expect too much. I expected and that's why I'll never come here again. Such things can happen.

One of the best place for breakfast and for specialty coffee in Saint-Petersburg. I recommend to try sirniki and the weekend breakfast.
Smena is nicely appointed, cozy, and comfy. They have excellent coffee & super friendly baristas!! These guys know their coffee and are supplied by specialty roasters in Moscow. They know how to make a damn good cuppa joe! In fact, while visiting, I met a number of baristas from specialty shops throughout the city. They’re also very welcoming. It was a warm day when I stopped. I sat down to cool off before ordering and the barista brought over a glass of water. Wow! спасибо! If you’re in the area, don’t hesitate for a moment to stop in and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and terrific coffee!!
