The area is not a comfortable place to sit and dine in but the food is fantastic. One of the most leading mee goreng and mee rebus cooking. I prefer to pack home and eat. The cooking and recipe is good even though after packing and going home, the mee goreng and bihun goreng doesn't dry up
The mee goreng was overly moist and lacked the “wok hei” I usually enjoy. While the additional gravy was appreciated, it affected the texture of the noodles.
I really miss those days where I could have excellent mee goreng at Jones road.

I ordered a pack of mee goreng, I was told it will take 20 mins. Came back after 23 mins only to find my order has been given to others and they're cleaning their stall. Seriously wasting my time, do I have to be super punctual? Despite being a regular, I will not buy from them again. I guess their business is too good to care about customers
Overrated. The price is reasonable and the portion is big. But, Mee Goreng does not have 'wok hei' and tasteless even with extra dried squid was added. Suitable for those who are searching for fill-in stomach with big portion only, if you want to find a tasty food, you may come to a wrong place and disappointed.
One of the very nice taste Mee goreng in Penang. They still maintain using charcoal to fried the noodle. Very unit taste. Price was reasonable too. Recommended Penang hawker food in Penang.
Fantastic! I'd seen Hussain Mee Goreng on a couple of food videos and thought, Yes, I have to try that. It takes a little walking around to find it, but it's worth the effort. The mee goreng is nicer than a simple noodle dish has a right to be. I've tried Jai Fai in Bangkok, and honestly I prefer this dish. I'll be heading back in a day or two.
Well, with all the comments I would say yes it is taste good even it does not look like it. I try the mee goreng, 👍👍. To me the environment is not that great. The stall close to pasar and if you plan to dine in, you have to sit in the kopitiam next to the stall and that kopitiam is dirty and service wasn’t that great. No wonder most of people take away rather than sit there and eat.
Big portion with RM6, the sellers are friendly and good memory take all the special orders. Taste I give 3 stars as too high expectations for carbon fried noodle, for me it could be taste better
