I love MC Escher and my visit in the Hague was aligned with the visit in the museum. I have excellent impressions about the exhibition. It starts slowly from the ground floor with an introduction in his early stages and then, in the second floor you find the later stages of his work. In the last floor there are interactive exhibits targeted to his methods and techniques, which I found them fascinating. A small critique could be that I would like to have more and more modern AV installations, the one with the projector felt a bit outdated. Would be very interesting to include VR/AR interactive installations. Also the employee's were very informative and kind
Overall an amazing experience ✨️

It is a great exhibition with fabulous lighting fixtures that complement the illusion of each piece. Get to immerse yourself with the displays, a playful way to attract all audiences.

Loved this museum and loved the way they told the story of Escher. It was a fun and interesting experience and I would definitely recommend a visit. The location is beautiful and so is the building. Enjoyed the video exhibition quite a bit and the paintings and artworks were also very nice especially if you find the way Escher works an interesting thing. Would recommend the visit, it can be quite crowded though and limited space to move around but it’s worth it nonetheless.

If you’ve ever enjoyed an Escher print this place is worth a visit. See his earliest work and how it develops through his lifetime influenced by the places he lived. Look closely at the artwork, it’s fascinating.

This is a brilliant collection of a large number of Escher prints arranged with contemporary arts works that are inspired by, or similar in style or content to those of Escher.
The building beautifully complements the artworks with its baffling staircases.
There are also information panels discussing the life of the last Queen Regent to use the palace.
Excellent range of postcards in the gift shop too!

Even though there wasn’t a queue when we arrived I would still recommend buying tickets before hand as we were able to pretty much walk right in. There’s actually a lot to see in the museum and it provides an account of his history as well as other artists that have been influenced by his works. It took us about two hours to go through all the exhibits. We took our time take everything in so a speed run can be done in about an hour.
