Beautiful facility. Can’t be more than 10 years old. They run several athletic programs that last about 10 weeks each including volleyball basketball Pilates and yoga information. Phone lines are staffed as early as 8 AM and the staff at the facility during session times are always knowledgeable and polite.

One of the best PAL basketball facilities run by legend Ed Dempsey. Other leagues...Volleyball, badminton, Zumba . Great Summer basketball camps.

Nice place to play badminton in the evenings a few times a week. Well lit four courts provide great opportunity for badminton 🏸 lovers to play with all levels of players, be it beginners or intermediate to advanced level. Most friendly matches, as well as get chance to socialise and hang out with friends.

Clean facilities, well maintained, easy to get in and out, dedicated parking lot. We come here for the special needs basketball program, which my son absolutely loves and looks forward to. Have also been to the kids karate program.

You might want to look at your zumba instructor on Mondays. She's very much into only certain people in the class..I am tired of exercise instructors who don't give a hoot for others...we pay good money only to be ignored? I asked her for a pen to sign in and she said she didn't have one and walked away? Hey thanks for making me feel like 2 years old

Rob is the best!!!! Nice gym. Although they dont really care for the adult basketball rec play, it is a nice facility. The PAL league sometimes runs over into our time, which caused us to always lose our regular play time. We already got bumped out of our Wednesday night spot. They just keep taking advantage of us. Besides Rob the response from the rest of staff is "oh well." Tina is also very kind and polite. The tall guy with the handle bar mustache and glasses needs to chill out with his attitude.

Good facility for the town. Town employees are helpful and nice. Event management has improved in my prospective.
There is no fixed opening hours. The facility is open for events organized by the Town of Oyster Bay's Department of Park and Recreation, and Nassau County Police League. If you want to get registration info for events or query a list of events available, you should contact these organizations first. In case you just want a building visit, when you see people inside the building, the public is only free to go into the building's main lobby area as well. You can find posting of some events (don't expect all) and forms by the main gym entrance door which is also next to the concession window. You can also stop by the concession window (if it opens) or just ask around for the current event's responsible staffs. There is always at least 1 town employee on duty in the building when it is open for events. However, the employee moves around to take care of the events and the building, instead of sitting at a desk to greet visitors. Unless you already register in the event and you know what you are doing, do not use any facility or run around in the building without asking a responsible person.
