I prefer superb pad thai because it’s wrapped in stirred fried egg.
The premade lemon juice makes the pad flavor increases to another level.
Orange juice goes with real orange meats, big bottle 700ml.
The chili flakes I think it is a mix with shrimps, tastes yummy, not spicy at all.

Gorgeous location thankfully in AC, and came around 3pm with no wait! Absolute must visit while in Bangkok; the Pad Thai Sen Chan with Shrimp Oil, Prawns and Wrapping Egg was unique and delicious; fun to break the egg and had a nice sweet taste. But honestly loved the royal pad Thai — the sauce was incredible, and I could honestly eat that dish for lunch and dinner for the next month and not get tired of it! Best meal we’ve had in Thailand so far!

One of the restaurants that you must try when you visit Bangkok. Orange juice really tastes good. Of course, the pad thai are delicious too. Beware on long queue even after lunchtime as tables for dine in are limited.

Not the usual pad Thai flavour non-Thai people are used to, but nevertheless, the flavour was unique and delicious. There were instructions on how to add the toppings and spices and we followed it and quite enjoyed the resulting flavour.

In the write up, it says that they were the first ones who created Pad Thai, before World War ll.

We went mid afternoon and there was no wait. We were even able to sit in one of the beautiful, creative floating pods that gave us even more enjoyment eating here.

Price wise, it was reasonable since the portion was good enough for two people.

Service was attentive and quick.

I would return and try the other pad Thai dishes.

Thipsamai branch is located in Iconsiam. Did not have to wait to get a seat. Service was prompt and polite with English speaking waiters. ecent pad thai - bouncy noodles in a sweet and salty sauce. Was not blown away but the pad thai but if shopping in the area a nice place for a quick lunch.

🍜 Food wise: Well stir-fried noodles and prawns, wrapped nicely in with a thin layer of egg, garnished with some shredded chilli and some coriander, with peanuts by the side and some chives, bean sprouts and banana blossoms on another plate. The method of eating is stated in a leaflet, but long story short, add to taste.

Without adding anything, the noodles tasted sweet only and needed something to go with. There is fish sauce, chilli flakes, sugar, and some preserved chopped chilli on each table that one can add to the noodles. Once the ingredients are added, it tastes of the good and savoury pad thai, sweet, spicy, hint of fish sauce, crunchy and simply delicious. Just don’t take too long to decide on what condiments to add though, eat when it is hot!

✨ Ambience wise: Pretty setting for a restaurant, with water features, and rattan structures surrounding it, as though one is in a village enjoying the meal.

🤵🏻 Service-wise: Staff did their job.

💵 Price wise: 169 Baht

Summary: Pretty expensive, worth the try nevertheless!

Worried that their first restaurant would be crowded, I came to their branch in Siam Icon instead. Taking a boat from Wat Pho, which cost me THB 30.

It's past lunchtime already. Still, there was a waiting list. Three names before mine. But, not that long to wait. The menu was simple. I decided to give a try to Dried Grinding Squid, Classic Pad Thai Sen-Chan and Pad Thai Sen-Chan with Shrimp Oil wrapped in egg.

Dried Grinding Squid was basically similar to dried squid snacks you can find in grocery stores. It came with brown sauce, I did not recognize what it was made from. The sauce tasted sweet, while the squid was a bit savory, almost plain. Texture wise, a bit chewy.

The difference between the two pad thais is the classic one had light flavor and looked pale white, unlike most pad thais which were brownish. While the one with shrimp oil appeared pale red in color and had a taste of seafood. The crushed peanuts were not mixed with the noodles like you might find in most pad thais. It should be safe for those who are allergic to peanuts.

Both of the pad thais were sweet. At the beginning, the taste was good. But, gradually it became unpleasant. I suggest adding chillies for a bit of spiciness. They serve chillies on the side.

As for the drink, I went for Thai Milk Tea which I surely recommend. It was creamy, not overly sweet. I heard they are famous for their orange juice. The price was quite high for a 500-ml-bottle, around THB 219 at that time. You should ask before ordering because the price can be different every other day.

good decent pad thai I would say, it was one of 2 best pad thai that I had during 2 weeks stay in Bangkok. Also the orange juice was so good, and it made me visit twice😃
