Sunderland Central Mosque is a beautiful and well-maintained place of worship. The architecture is impressive, and the atmosphere inside is serene and inviting. The community is friendly and welcoming, making it a great spot for prayers and connecting with others.
Very clean place, an awesome atmosphere. There is plenty of room to place your shoes. The cleansing area is spacious and there is always a pleasant aroma. The main prayer hall is very big, being able to fit large congregations. The upstairs prayer hall is a very similar size.
There is no area for muslimah. When I came in, a person shouted at me saying 'there's no place for women here'. Luckily there is this one brother who let me take wudhu and pray upstairs.
Lunchtime, Dhur prayers on Thursday. 50 people, all ages. Good size prayer hall, entrance is at one side of the building in Chester Road. There is shoe rack area on the left as you go in. Numbered rack columns 1-10 . About 6 per column. Adhan sounded beautiful. There are signs about social distancing. For prayers most people stand close together.. Beautiful place. It has a bus stop opposite. Today packed for Jummah. 200 people roughly. Downstairs and upstairs full. No social distancing at all. Sermon not in English.
A beautiful like a pearl in the main city of Sunderland shining from the Road community Jamia Masjid is the blessings of Almighty Allah, people from different countries coming to perform their prayers and a good symbol for the Muslim of this country, very nice and humble locality.
Beautiful community Masjid with young and old coming to the masjid alike. Masjid is filled with good environment and halka of knowledge and dikr. Prayed here few days.

Nice small masjid with a friendly community. Good location. Very good facilities. I just stopped over here whilst passing through, the local people were very friendly and helpful, and helped me find my way around.
