Wow so if you’re ever in New Orleans. Definitely go to Cafe Du Monde it’s a must. The coffee goes well with the beignets because its not too heavy, not too much flour, for sure don’t know what’s in that powder but it was good. Loved getting my order spoken in Vietnamese with our server!

This iconic cafe is has a truly New Orleans vibe. We had iced cafe at lait and fresh beignets while we listened to talented street performers on the sidewalk. We always make it a point to visit the cafe as it just completes our trip. The beignets were warm and delicious as always.
The hype is well deserved. Beignets are loaded with powder sugar and they are delicious with frozen coffee. We might have been lucky but we waited very little for a table while the take out line was extremely slow. The place is cash only.
If you visit New Orleans this is a must! The wait is long I will admit but the beignets were soooo good! The coffee was amazing according to my wife 😋 personally it wasn’t for me, I also like my coffee very sweet whereas she likes the actual coffee taste.
A must if you come to NOLA. Really noisy and crowded but if you enjoy live music it’s nice. The coffee isn’t good but you have to eat the warm & sweet beignets. They only accept cash, you can take a seat and a waiter will assist you.
It was a chilly, rainy day and this spot still had came and was a needed stop. It's absolutely quintessential to a New Orleans visit and it was surprisingly easy and relaxing through the hustle and bustle of the crowd. We were able to get seated as a table of 8! We enjoyed the beignets and cafe au lait. Some in the party even said it was the best meal in Nola.
This place is everything I hoped it would be. I have wanted to come to cafe Du Monde for years now. I have heard so many amazing stories and experiences about it. And yes it’s as good as every one said it was. The beignets come out nice and hot and covered in powder sugar. And they are delicious. It’s worth it so go and have any amazing time.
