It's a great alternative to walking on the busy shared sidewalks instead. However, if you're not careful you might get mowed over like some grass. The moped situation needs to be tackled in the Bronx especially. There is not any regard for the laws that are designed to keep people out of harm's way!

A nice trail to walk but with caution. You 👀🕵️ a lot of interesting things back there!

Nice little park area.

I stumbled onto this beautiful linear park by accident. Although the surrounding area can get sketchy, I cannot recommend this walk/park enough. The renovation is beautiful and it is so heartening to see the glorious trees lining the park. I suspect there is still quite a bit of water in the area below, to keep the trees so healthy.

I actually live one block away from this park. I lived in this neighborhood for 28 years. Aqueduct 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ walk has seen a major renovation. When i first came to Aqueduct walk it was a sad sight to see. The lights in the poles in the park where broken. It was totally dark at night. The park benches were missing parts and pieces. The handball courts were always littered with empty beer bottles and cans. Lots of drug paraphernalia. It was really bad.
Today it has been totally transformed into a beautiful park. New park benchs and lighting all over the entire park. Handball courts are brand new and well maintained . The park has a new play area for the children. Giant sprinkler included. New water fountains and even a beautiful garden area. All these areas are opened in the morning and closed at night by the Parks Department. The areas are patrolled by the NYC POLICE at all times. The park and surrounding areas are safe and Aqueduct walk is now a place where i will bring my children to play. I recommend a visit.

This is a great place to come and enjoy fresh air. There are lots of trees which provide lots of shade to protect from the sun. The place is alway clean and have a lot of seating area. There are few tables as well. The tables have a checker's board.
The Bx3 bus stops infront of the walk way. The 4 train is about 10min away from this place. Also, Bronx Community College is infront of the walk way.

Nice park to walk through during the day and early evening but different during the late evening. Great path to jog on not sure if bike riding is allowed.

Nice place to sit and enjoy the weather. It's a smoke friendly place so if you don't like the smell of plants I'd advice you to walk through and not sit lol
