We went there without a reservation, but the staff kindly found an available table for us without hesitation.
The atmosphere felt like we were in France. We ordered lunch set B, which included an appetizer, main course, and dessert. They also provided bread and butter, and after dessert, they gave us coffee and tea that paired well with the sweets.
Overall, the price was very reasonable, and I think it's a great place to experience authentic French food.

Delicious French restaurant. We got the lobster bisque, the beef cheeks, and the steak tar tar. I can’t say enough good things about this food… so good. 😋😋😋
We stumbled across this hidden gem in a small lane behind our hotel. What a find it turned out to be. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from the exceptional staff who’s service did not falter. The restaurant is cosy and quaint, the food to die for. We started with the lobster bisque which we shared and was flavoursome. I had the fish of the day, Tilapia served on an array of vegetables, it was delicious. My husband had the steak frites, juicy, cooked as requested and well seasoned.
They also have a great selection of wines and other beverages.
We will be back.
I highly recommend Bistro Le Nougat, you wont be disappointed.

A wonderful bistro on a back street of Ginza with staples such as oeufs mayo, ratatouille, cassoulet. But also gems such as a ayu millefeuille, coquilles st-jacques and Mont Saint-Michel mussels. Great wines by the glass as well. You can bring in your own wine for ¥3000 corkage as well.
A true piece of France in the middle of Ginza.
Come for a casual dinner alone, for a date, night with friends - wouldn’t disappoint either way.
Excellent choice of dishes with daily specials, all fresh and rather authentic: at least my French friend was NOT unhappy with what he got...
Enjoy a good wine list, and don’t forget to strike up a conversation with owner/manager lady.
They remember regulars well, and hospitality here is truly lovely!

One of the best French bistros in Tokyo. High ceilings upstairs and comfortable downstairs. Generous food portions that are perfect for sharing. Highly recommended and looking forward to going again. Great selection of wines.
Phenomenal meal. We stumbled across this lovely little French bistro while looking for a late night eat. Our expectations were more than met! The service was beyond impressive and extremely friendly. Nami, the owner, told us her story about how was was inspired by French food while traveling. She has taken her own spin on things while remaining true to French food!
The food was so delicious. We had the fish of the day (which was sea bass) and it was wonderful and fresh. It was topped with amazing truffles! Our table also enjoyed the gratan dauphinois, omelette, duck thigh confit and steak frites. We had clean plates at the end, as we ate every single bite!
The wine list was also impressive. The dessert (profiteroles) were filled with vanilla ice cream and Nami topped it off with high quality chocolate!
Overall, I can’t say enough positive things about this bistro. While French food may not be on the top of your list while in Tokyo, I can assure you it will be one of your favorite meals while in the city.
