Fresh sashimi and nice unagidon. Excellent service. We are really happy about every thing.

Really good food, best sushi we ever had. Oysters were expensive but totally worth it! Service was great, it is combined between Dutch and Japanese people. It would have been an added value to have cloth napkins and not paper napkins.

Excellent sushi, amazing service. The only thing I didn’t like were the paper menus.

Izumi is a delightful partnership between Amsterdammer and Japanese chefs. It’s not easy to enjoy fish of this quality and freshness in Antwerp, with the chirashi sushi especially delicious in a cozy ambience.

Lovely authentic looking restaurant. The food was delicious, but I would have appreciated it to be more authentic food-drinks wise. For example, I would not expect a Japanese restaurant to use Irish ribeye in their dishes, even though it tasted amazing. Also drinks... Asked a Japanese gin-tonic. The gin was Japanese, bit they added a generic Fever Tree tonic... Would be nice if there was a Japanese tonic aswell. Also in terms of wine, Italian wine, Spanish wine etc. Just remove those of it's up to me, I guess there's other places with better food pairing for those kind of wines. But overall, still great experience. May be coming back at some point in the future.
