Ate here on our final night in New York as it was just down the road from our hotel. As 4 adults and a toddler we sat outside, nice to people watch and more enjoyable in the hot weather.
Food wise we had a mix of fish and chips, pasta and quesadilla dishes. All were lovely and the portion sizes were actually massive. All 4 adults had an alcoholic drink. Service was quick and with a smile, especially the waiter entertaining our little one.
All in all it came to $140 with a tip taking it to $170. Possibly the most reasonably priced meal I've ever had in New York. Would definitely go again!

Great service and delicious food! I had a craving for breakfast eggs but had to order delivery so I wasn't expecting that to travel well. The food I received was fresh and still hot! Delivered fast, a good sized portion, and the bacon is real bacon (which in other places can be a 50/50 chance). I also ordered the mushrooms and goat cheese which was also delicious. I love this local diner and will absolutely order from them again, thanks Galaxy!
Galaxy Diner was a great breakfast choice with better than average prices. Service was exceptional! We walked in to quick seating and the servers checked in regularly. I appreciate that they took time to explain a few things on the menu. Easy walk from Belevedere Hotel as well! The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Really felt welcomed here!
Great food, nice portions. Dated but nice decor. Pleasant staff. Old fashion diner. Definitely will go back.
Nice place with good old school diner vibes. Service speed was 4/5 and the Eggs Benedict was served on hard muffin that didn’t seem to be fresh, unfortunately, so much that we had to replace it with bread. The Greek yogurt was smaller than in most places. Cappuccino was great and foamy.
We went on Christmas Day 🎄. My husband and I ordered the mushrooms and feta as an appetizer and we both got the Turkey Dinner. I ordered chicken and lemon rice soup as my entree and he got the vinaigrette salad. We had so much food I had to take a to go box. We also ordered chocolate cake and apple pie to go. I will definitely be back 😊. I highly recommend this diner. The staff is super attentive and so nice. I forgot to take pictures of food but I did take a few of the restaurant indoor decor.
The service was friendly and the food was good. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable. I had the roasted Portobello salad and it was a great light meal on a hot day. My husband, son and daughter said their pasta dishes were enjoyable. There was plenty of seating when we arrived on a Wednesday around 5:00pm but they were getting busy by the time we left assertive 6.
