Vegetables are good, but don’t buy milk from Apna Bazar. It goes bad very soon.. it happened with me many times.

My experience at the Punjabi Asian shop was utterly disappointing. The customer service was shockingly poor – the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, leaving customers to fend for themselves. The state of the toilets in the basement was nothing short of appalling. Not only were they difficult to locate due to the lack of clear directions, but the conditions inside were unsanitary and unacceptable. To make matters worse, there were live wires dangerously hanging out from the walls, posing a serious safety hazard. This level of negligence and disregard for basic safety and hygiene standards is deeply concerning and reflects poorly on the establishment. I would strongly advise against visiting this shop until they address these glaring issues.

While their supply and groceries are great and readily available, their customer service is not great. On nearly every visit, I encounter a bad experience with the cashiers who seem to always have discriminatory attitude towards Bengali customers. Even simply asking a question or politely correcting THEIR own mistake provokes unnecessarily rudeness out of them. This is not acceptable behavior.

Behaviour wasn’t good. There was a package of Mango out there. We bought 3 and pay to counter. After coming Out 2 guys out there was saying that the mango package comes up with 9 usually. Maybe our one of the box or package had 1 or 2 more mango. They stopped us middle of the road check receipt and ask why we took 2 extra? We Didn't even knows about that. We just took as the box was. Then they took those 2 mangoes back. It was so embracing situation in the middle of the road. But TBH mangoes was good.

Don’t buy from the Mama’s meat market here unless you are from their community. They will cheat you and give absolutely bad pieces and only bones. Disgusting treatment or anyone who doesn’t know bengali. Food Bazaar nearby gives excellent meat pieces and will treat you better. Never buying from here again

Little Crowded probably due to weekend rain. Needed more organized and extra cleaning.

I don't need to say a lot about this grocery store. It is literally one of the best South Asian groceries in New York state.

BUT there is no parking space available in the immediate area. ALSO, drivers are not following any traffic rules, they will just park on the road, turning the emergency lights on and blocking everyone behind them.

Apart from that negative thing, they have all kinds of desi spices, groceries and many more. The place is packed with products all the time and it's almost always busy. Prices are fair too. They have a halal corner meat store, i think it is operated by a different owner. The meat is always fresh and prices are cheaper than other places. All the meat is halal. They have goat, lamb, chicken, beef, seafood and even organ meat. Whenever we visit NYC, Apna Bazar is a must place to go and buy groceries and be taken back home.
