I had a great experience here, however it's so far. Perhaps getting there in a more comfortable boat can be somewhat liberating.
Kasaka River Lodge in Lower Zambezi offers a unique blend of comfort and wilderness. During my stay for a creative women in tech workshop, the presence of wild animals like vervet monkeys, baboons, elephants, and nocturnal hippos added a touch of excitement. The calmness of the Zambezi River was truly captivating. The attentive and friendly staff ensured our safety and made the experience memorable. With two swimming pools, 8 self-contained tents, and a family house, the lodge is well-equipped for guests. I recommend Kasaka for those seeking a genuine nature experience, where sightings of elephants, hippos, and monkeys are guaranteed.
We stayed in a tented chalet. The shade net on the windows of the tent was torn. Some of our friends beds got wet when there was a rain storm the one day.
They have open bathrooms so when it rained you couldn't use it. You can't leave toiletries in the bathroom because of the monkeys.
Other than that the setting was beautiful and also the view, the river, food was amazing!!! but we had an outside catering service.

We had our honeymoon at Kasaka about 6 years ago. I still remember the experience as though it was yesterday. The staff were excellent ,food was fabulous. The activities were on time and we had an excellent tour guide who made the whole trip exciting. We will definitely revisit the place for our anniversary in future with our kids
Visited Kasaka as part of a group. The trip was organized by a tour company which handled all our logistics.
Kasaka is a beautiful lodge overlooking the Zambezi; hippos are a constant sound that you will hear throughout your stay. At night, little frogs have a tendency of just appearing about anywhere especially the shower and toilets.
We had a couple of visits from monkeys in the lounge!
Also, there was no Mobile network and WiFi at the time of our stay.

Super nice though under renovations but it's very nice place 👌👌
