We had an AWESOME experience in October 2022! Sunset cruises, campfire at night, loved hearing the hippos at night. Perfect location on lower Zambezi. Great food and attentive service! Early morning safari was also awesome! Our driver knew the area and helped us see animals headed to the river. Elephant, buffalo, warthog, lots of birds. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
Very basic facilities... but sometimes it's all you need... the staff was excellent Mr Mike and Mr David... very good gentleman very polite... very helpful... we had a great time.. Nice dining with a nice dining hall just near the banks.... the rooms were clean... very impressed with the service.. won't hesitate to go again..
Mister Kennedy is a great host. We have made an awesome canoeing and camping multiple day trip with Mario. We saw many wild animals and experienced the real Africa. Thanks a lot to Kennedy, Mario, Dewi and Sam from the Netherlands.

This is a basic lodge owned by members of the local community. Services are limited and there is no electricity (except for a few hours of generator power in the evening) but you can't beat this for a genuine local experience and for reasonable prices. There are plenty of hippos and elephants around the lodge. Highly recommended!
