The Los Feliz Theater is such a great theater to go to. I belong to American Cinematheque, so I love seeing the films that they show at a theater closer to home, than having to drive all the way to Santa Monica. The people who work at the theater are always so nice. The theater doesn't have its own parking lot, but if I have the time to look, I usually can find a parking spot for free around in the neighborhood, about a block or two from the theater. Just be aware that that area is pretty popular. If I don't have time, I just go to one of the small paid parking lots in the area. And, there's lots of good choices of places to eat, and cute stores to shop in, before or after your movie. I love that area.

A great local gem! They always have an interesting selection. It’s an older movie theater so there’s no stadium seating but it doesn’t matter. The theater is cozy and feels like home.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere! Love the location— lots of cool spots to grab a drink before the show. Independently owned, which is a plus. Prices are pretty good too!

I absolutely enjoyed my movie watching experience at this theatre. They've maintained it beautifully from the curtains to the chairs are comfy and even designed the pre-movie clips to be old-fashioned. I also liked the small theatre intimate feeling for a change compared to those HUGE cinemas.

Would definitely recommend anyone to pass by and watch a movie in one of LAs oldest theatres :)
San Diego Cinerama
Terrific theatre with great screens and great sound, especially when it plays 35mm prints- which they do a lot! Staff is friendly and the concessions are good. Highest recommendation.

Love having this theater in the neighborhood. I’ve seen so many good nostalgia films as well as classic films that I have never seen but was able to experience for the first time on a big screen which is an absolute treat. The American Cinemateque films are so well curated and it’s also a good option if you want to see a new release.

It's a well-maintained theater. The staff is great. I was here for an American Cinemateque screening. That screening was very well-run.

The popcorn was tasty, but they use the paper sacks for the corn. The person who filled my bag mushed it on top after he filled it--something that has been a "no no" for decades of popcorn serving as it crushes the popcorn. But the popcorn was fresh and flavorful.
