Clean and well attended too. But go to Heckscher Playground if they are closed (8min walk).
In a humble restroom, where moments unwind,
A man finds solace, seeking peace of mind.
Within the tiled walls, a silent retreat,
Where nature's call meets a tranquil seat.
He steps inside, a sanctuary found,
Where privacy echoes without a sound.
With whispered relief, he takes his place,
A moment to pause, in a private embrace.
In this quiet chamber, time slows its pace,
As thoughts and worries find their brief erase.
He contemplates life, his mind's gentle flow,
A respite granted from the world's ebb and woe.
Within these four walls, a humble throne,
He finds a moment to be alone.
A pause in his journey, a sacred break,
A chance to reflect, an interlude to take.
For even in mundane tasks we undertake,
There's beauty hidden, if time we could make,
To cherish the stillness, the gentle reprieve,
As the man finds solace, in this space he perceives.
So, let us honor these moments of pause,
In sanctuaries small, where silence draws,
For in life's journey, both big and small,
The bathroom's realm is a sacred stall.

Clean and well kept
Clean restroom on the weekends with a very friendly guard directing traffic!
No longer available. Better luck taking a dump in the seal exhibit than this heavily guarded “public” restroom.
I was just denied a public bathroom access with my 10lb service dog. I was told to “leave him outside”.
He is not just a pet. All Service and ESA animals consider to be a “medical tool” by a federal and state law. And denying them is discriminatory. I have necessary documents with me. I fly with him, I go everywhere with him. But apparently I can’t use PUBLIC restroom.
I was alone, I couldn’t leave my dog with a friend. I would have to leave him outside where he could be taken.
All that happened in a very rude form. In front of 4 other male guards. No understanding. No courtesy. No willing to help. Very humiliating..
Everything about this is just wrong ..

The Arsenal Public Restroom is not very public at all...
Head up the stairs, then follow the wall into the bush. It isn't much, but it comes with some decent views 🤣😂🤣

Enter from the doors on the gift shop side. Down the ramp or stairs. A helpful male and female ranger were there directing people and the line by the women's bathroom. The seat in my stall was completely "sprayed up" by a previous visitor (men's side), but there was toilet paper, and warm water and soap afterwards.
