It's not really a mall but a department store and supermarket with a few satellite retailers and low quality restaurants. It's poorly maintained with broken flooring and general filth everywhere. Go here for the convenience of a supermarket if you're in the vicinity but otherwise skip it.
I love the mall, even when I was a kid. I miss the arcade the top floor. Maybe because of maintenence costs it was closed. Those were the best times. I forgot to always take a picture whenever I was there. I wish it would do a comeback. The bump cars were cool and the premium Internet cafe.
There are many items you can buy in their department store. Very clean Restrooms and they offer many food in their food court. They have fresh salads, fruits and affordable grocery items. They have many bench that you can rest and eat while waiting. They have Baggage counter and Very organize. I love Gaisano Ilustre.
Bad experiences, I went to the 5th floor to get my health card and it was hilarious, all the way from the ground floor to the 5th floor only 1 escalator working.. The management should take action for this!
It's good, you know just a typical mall with a supermarket that has essentials that you need on a daily basis.

One of the best mall in Davao city, most of the people don't know about this Gmall, no crowded here like other mall so calm and chill, Underrated mall, you can get everything here what ever u need for your life

Place is a bit "cramped" or small compared to most malls in the city but it's okay since they sell almost all the basics.
The sales staff are also very friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed talking to one sales lady and asking her about a lot of stuffs that I need to buy since I'm new in the city. I forgot to ask her name though, she really deserves some commendation for her service.
Will definitely be back here to buy more stuffs.
