The dumplings and spring rolls were delicious. The price was very reasonable. To find it, you need to go through the market and up the stairs.

Yes, the dumplings are good and the prices are reasonable. The location is great yet the restaurant is hard to find despite the super-bright lighting. Cleanliness isn't a top priority and the staff is, hmmm, special. The tabletop is bare except for some utensils, communal sauces and the residue from the previous client's meal. Water and napkins aren't provided nor offered. Our waitress was sullen and unhelpful , bordering on rude. If you want to eat dumplings and don't care about your surroundings, this is the place for you. If you want a pleasant dining experience while visiting Shanghai, go elsewhere.

Very tasty food at reasonable price. Better experience if you can order and pay via Wechat. Lots of people during peak. If locals patronize, it must be good. There's also a perpetual long queue downstairs for the meat mooncake.
Well hidden spot, you need to go through the market to the second floor. The food is good and portions are generous, price is surprisingly cheap. Bowl of wontons or noodles cost about 5$
Reasonable prices and surprisingly decent service. 15 RMB for each giant soup dumpling. 40 RMB for each order of 8 small soup dumplings and 6 pan fried dumplings. 28 RMB for the noodle soup with fatty pork. Please don't poke holes in your dumplings.
Excellent shanghainese food at reasonable prices! I had the soup noodle with trotter.. Noodles were bang on and the pork just melts in your mouth. Yum!

Highly recommend this place. It might be in a touristy area, but the service is good, the price is good, the food is actually surprisingly good for this kind of place. You can get a quick bite or meal with good food.
The big dumpling is more for fun, but the small ones are nice. The noodles are good too.
