Very good Chinese yum cha here that had a vast selection of well known Asian food as well as some lesser known varieties. Quite authentic dishes, food came out very regularly and tasted good. Prices weren't overly cheap but the food was good and it was enjoyable. Good to check out.

Great dumplings and service. The staff are friendly and food is served fast. We loved the roasted port buns and duck pancakes. The beef ball and prawn dumplings were also really nice. Greenwood Chinese Restaurant is great for lunch and yum cha.

We had a lovely group work lunch here and it was excellent. The food was delivered so quickly and it was quality. Will definitely dine here again when I'm back in Sydney. Highly recommend for those who haven't been. Also recommend to try the peking duck and the chicken wings as well as the crispy pork belly.

The best dimsum place I have ever been in Sydney. The dimsum taste so authentic and well seasoned. Especially impressed by the rice noodle roll. The rice noodle layer is so thin but soft and smooth. The prawn inside is fresh and big too. Even the veggies are perfectly cooked. I can tell the chef is experienced and used the proper Cantonese way to prepare the dish.

A family favourite for good Chinese food that isn’t too oily or heavy. Nice selection of seafood and their hotpots during Winter is quite popular (must try their noodles that are actually made out of fish). Not exactly a cheap joint but you do get what you pay for and the service is always lovely.

Edit: we’ve come back during the Christmas period and preordered a lobster and crab for group of 12pax. The corner table is lovely as you get a lot of space in the corner. Total bill did come to a whopping $1.2k which is a lot of money but considering we had >3kg worth of seafood it’s in line with market prices.

One of our favorite dim sum places in Sydney. Was recommended by our Chinese friends and since then we have been here twice.

Most dishes taste good and fresh with reasonable prices. Oh, remember to ask for chili sauce to go with things, it’s tasty yet not spicy. See notes in my photos for our comments on the dishes.

The service is average, but a staff called Stephanie was very smiley, polite and genuine, which was impressive.

It’s usually quite busy so reservation is recommended.

I took my Mum & brother for dinner as we stayed in North Sydney when I visited home recently. I knew the location as I used to visit for yum cha during my lunch breaks when I worked in North Sydney. We had to ask if there’s a special access for wheelchairs and it was hard to communicate over the phone but we got there in the end. It was a Saturday night and they said they were fully booked but when we arrived there was tables available. They did end up accommodating us. The service was a little slow (to be expected) the restaurant was packed. The food was delicious though. Big portions too.

The food here is great but the service is a real let down. We booked a table a week ahead for 12noon and got seated at 12:20. Unfortunately we were unaware and weren’t told that they don’t wheel the food trolleys here and you just order from the menu, which more time was wasted. Personally I feel this place is understaffed.

When the food finally does come out, it doesn’t disappoint. Portions are generous. The chicken feet and pork spare ribs were my favourite. Highly recommend booking a table and getting here early.
