My favorite swim this year in canada!!! Don’t be fooled the lake is perfect

We used to loved this little hidden gem. Had a beautiful emerald lake color and it was a perfect spot for lunch and a break. It’s shocking to see it like this, its been a very dry season.

Just did a quick stop to stretch our legs. Found this little jem of a stop. Our AC was broken and this lake was very cold, the kids loved it. River close by too with some excellent skipping rocks. Good little place to stop for lunch or a pee break.

A nice place to have a picnic and snap a few photos. There’s benches and a playground and ample parking! Bring bug spray though!

Beautiful little stop on the Trans Canada. River runs behind it with some picnic benches. Good for a family stop. Also a great stop for photographers. Highly recommend

Beautiful little spot to stop for a dog walk and to feed the kids.
Small playground for the kids, bathroom was clean and stocked, lots of picnic tables and a pretty little lake. River is close by as well.
