Hawkers is always a good idea! Their happy hour menu is amazing, with $5 appetizers and discounted drinks! The restaurant is decorated beautifully, and it’s in a great location! If the weather is nice, I highly recommend the beautiful patio! Family friendly, or amazing for a tipsy brunch with your friends! Don’t skip the Roti Canai, it is a MUST HAVE.
First time here. The place has a great vibe. Very loud so you do have to speak in a raised voice to be heard. Small plates. We had roti canai, pork bao buns, and duck fried rice. The food comes out as it is ready rather than all at once. We had a nice, bubbly waitress, but she was forgetful. She didn't bring my cocktail until all the food was delivered and consumed. She forgot to bring forks, and didn't come back by the table, so I had to go to the back and request them. The food is delivered by a different set of people, so it was hard to communicate your needs. We were going to order more roti but too much time had passed, so we decided to leave. We were still a little hungry so we went across the street to Poe's. I would definitely go again. It was probably an off night. Lastly, I really hate those metal chairs that are trending in many restaurants.
We’re out here visiting Jax Beach and EVERYONE that we talked to suggested Hawkers. I’m so glad they did because the food was incredible. Reid was incredible helpful and even made sure that the chef removed my allergens from my food. Great visit and hopefully we will move here and be able to come more often! Thank you!
Asian themed bar with decent food and reasonably priced drinks for the popular beach location. Had the Hawkers Fries, they were seasoned well and fried nice and crispy while moist and fluffy inside.
Ordered quite a smattering from the menu, ate most of it.
- Bulgogi steak was ok, a little too much sauce but flavor was good.
- Shrimp spring rolls were mint / basil forward, did not finish.
- Seoul hot chicken buns would be good with a savory bun, or at least one that's not so sweet. Chicken was ok, more spice maybe?
- Roti were good, the curry sauce that came with them was not. Found that the roti and red sauce that came with the bulgogi steak were a better pairing
- Laksa soup was confusing. The noodles were good, the broth was trying too hard, and the chicken tasted like armpit. Another did not finish.
Service was great, the atmosphere is cool but the metal chairs are really uncomfortable. Sorta ranks in the 'would go back if a friend really wanted it' category.

I love this place so much! The food is incredible and there are so many unique new flavors to try! Our server Cameron was kind attentive and provided great recommendations. A must visit in Jax Beach area.
Today was the first time my family and I tried Hawkers! It was superb! Our food came out nice and hot. Everything was delicious. I would strongly suggest this restaurant to everyone! If you're looking for a place to take family and friends who are visiting, this is the place! I wish I remembered the waiters name! But he was fantastic!
It’s great asian tapas restaurants! Every plate we ordered was flavorful and well presented. They are known for their cocktail drinks. The restaurant has good energy vibes and uplifting atmosphere. I just wish the barstools were more comfortable.
