I have been coming to this place for over 9yrs, and the sushi is always good.
I have come to this sushi spot over the years .the owner is a really nice guy not sure who they have on register now and days but I've tried calling to order and the girl answering the phone keeps hanging up and saying she puts me on hold 3 different times. It's OK to be put on hold, but why say that and hang up? lol 😆
I literally came here at 2:47 and was declined a to go order (very simple order, too). The hours say they close at 3:00, but they said they close the kitchen at 2:45. I highly suggest that you edit your store hours according to the kitchen. Absolutely ridiculous.
Love this place have been coming here for years and the rolls are consistently good, especially the veggie/vegan rolls. Prices are amazing for what you get. We got the tofu steak, avocado roll, mushroom roll, avocado mushroom roll, veggie lover roll, and veggie king roll. Even though I don't live in the bay area anymore this is a must on my list when I do.
Went to Fat Fish while on vacation and the food was great and the staff were extremely nice. My only concern was all of the garbage outside and stacks of cardboard in the parking lot.
Ordered chicken and beef teriyaki, taste was delicious, good portion for 2. Come with salad, miso soup, and rice.

Great food and service. I've been going here for 10 plus years and they have by far the best sushi one of the best things about them is the quantity and quality of the food you get. One of the biggest things you got to like is getting a bang for your buck and this is the place to go. I've been to fancy restaurants but this one kicks fancy restaurants but all the time so worth going.
After going here for years, I am sad to say I won't be going back. Pictures are of what are supposed to be salmon sushi but the meat has so many different colors of "salmon" meat going on that I don't feel safe eating it. Plenty of other sushi places... Good bye Fat Fish, my first true sushi love.
