Superb Mexican restaurant. Food quality is top of the line but what makes this place stand out is the staff and massive selection of hot sauces to try. Their in-house ghost pepper sauce is off the rails delicious but may be too spicy for most. Well worth a try and they let you take tiny samples of their sauces home!! Staff at the time were some of the best we've ever met 10/5 stars
Great Mexican joint in the King West area. My favorite part of this restaurant has to be the self-serve salsa and hot sauce bar. They have such a large variety and you can mix and match your own. Tacos are pretty standard price for downtown. We got the carne asada, bulgogi, fish and mushroom tacos as well as guacamole and queso nachos. I appreciate that they have some vegetarian options for tacos. Everything was fresh and tasted great.
The way you order is that you pay an order at the front, then get a number and sit to wait for your food to be served. Unfortunately it's often very busy so there is a wait for seating unless you take your food to go. Overall, it's pretty clean and spacious inside.

We went there for a quick dinner and the experience was nice. We tried fish taco , chicken taco , guacamole n chips, original burrito and everything was amazing. The best was the salsa bar that serves unlimited different types of salsa n sauces that goes from mild spicy to extreme spicy. Will definitely visit again to try the other stuffs.
Just about the nicest staff I’ve ever met! Wow, makes such a difference! Well done on hiring him. Wish I got his name. He explained the self serve salsa bar to me as I explained it was my first visit and to be gentle. Buddy even threw in more chips and guac on the house! Awesome awesome food. Don’t miss this gem.
This is a must if you are ever in downtown Toronto! The food is fresh and very tasteful. I had the chicken fajita and my husband had the shrimp fajita, they were both amazing. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants but I must say nothing compares to Wilbur’s.
Went to this Mexican restaurant today. The food was awesome. There was huge line and it was buzy. But the customer service was legit. So good despite being buzy. We ordered chips, guacamole and salsa. Ordered chicken taco 5/5 , mushroom taco5/5, fish taco 4/5. And got 1 vege burrito. Size was huge and was great. Loved it. Customer service was perfect. Overall it was a great experience 5/5
If you want some good popular mexican dishes, you have to go to Wilbur. The friendliest service and generous portions make this a great option in the downtown core. You order at the counter, they give you a number and they bring your meal to your table. Easy and always fresh! Great comfortable seating and ultra stylized dining area. The fajitas come sizzling on a hot plate. I'd totally recommend it. The best part is they have a great hot sauce bar and sauce and condiment station to please your every desire. Good value, great taste and super happy staff!

Tasty, hot, perfectly spiced, full of flavours.
The staff are great, and the owner takes personal care to make sure each guest is having their best experience.
Overall, couldn't be happier.
